Who’s trynna make some fire for hire like this? You don’t need experience I WILL teach you from start to finish. Free education on all things hash related and you get paid to work.
Well yeah, the only people who will happily take $20/hr in LA are the ones that have no skills. The only experienced people taking $20/hr are the ones that are down bad so of course they’ll have a little attitude. I’d rather hear of an employer who pays people what they’re worth, but that’s few and far between. Timing is everything in this industry. Either you were there from square one and talked your company into a comfortable manager salary or your slave labor to the guy who was there first.
Can’t expect to start high if we don’t see your work and ethics first. A foot in the door and ability to call/ ask your wage will be dependent upon that first day & how the individual shows out. That’s expected with a job.
Uh oh we back to talking in circles again with people being paid what theyre worth and big bad bosses making all the money while doing nothing
Tbh my boss is on-site everyday with us. He’s very hands on with work.
It just makes sense for a “try out” that’s paid to be 20/hr though as atleast you’re still getting paid and getting in the door for a big opportunity of full time work at a better wage once you get there.
I know I am just mocking the responses that come in to any employer post on here
Yeah because telling someone he has no balls for not taking $20/hr isn’t more toxic than stating it’s kind of low pay for the area. Mock as you will though. It’s kind of the reason no one really posts here anymore.
If you really need a job you take what you can get and keep applying. It’s easier to get a job if you already have one. But I don’t live in LA either. There are also plenty of places in the country where you can find similar or higher wages where the cost of living is much lower. This is a response to @ronan711, not op.
To be fair, he just said $20/hr for the 1 day work interview, not indefinitely for the full-time job. At least, that’s my interpretation. $20 is $20, and it’s just 1 day, might as well make a little money and negotiate your wage after. I dunno.
True 0$ an hour sounds much better
Also I think you projected all of that into the situation in regard to the wage. It seems it was a problem with working for a big name w/e that means
Also also I have been in situations where I have paid to network nevermind 20$/hr, 0$/hr how bout -2000$. Meeting people and networking CAN be valuable, not saying it always will be but its a possibility. Attitude, perspective.
Sir that’s a sales pitch from the last generation. Anyone is reachable via social media, even the richest people in the world. It’s actually kind of incredible.
However, don’t get me wrong it’s a great opportunity for the right person. I was just was giving my opinion on where I believe people’s heads are at from what I’ve seen.
I also said the other day that it’s sad that there isn’t a wave of people similar minded to us 8-10 years ago where it was just tons of eager minds wanting to extract and build. It’s just another burger flipping job these days in most people’s eyes.
Its not a sales pitch its reality backed by experience
Glad you got yours out of it then
With all that being said….
Who wants to work tomorrow?! ![]()
I’m here one more day this week and would love a worker to come in and bang out some hash
DTLA, stands for DownTown Los Angeles ?
Yes, the place where in and out employees make $21 per hour LOL
Correct
The $20 is probably cash. So that will save you about 30% in ca in taxes.
TRUTH, cash pay rate for the day and if you’re worth it can make more the next time on monday
