I ordered a mushroom kit and spore syringes.
How much spore water do I add to each bag (2 pounds) and mason jar (pint)? Also do I mix the bag or do I wait?

3-5mL should be enough. Roll the bag around the first few days to make sure theres no pooling liquid.
If you want to guarantee success, try innoculating some petri dishes instead of the grain bag.
Spore to grain is risky because spore syringes usually arent sterile like liquid culture syringes

Completely agree, or at the very least be prepared to clone a viable piece of fruit since the bags you get will be what is called a multispore culture and an isolation is wanted

You can recover any culture within 3 platings over 14 days.
@Thetetraguy is sooo right:
Plates are a visual checksum: plate until itâs ropey. No greens, fuzz, or anything other than rhizo.
Then you can throw a slice and continue knowing you didnât drag along unwanted cultures.
Edit: remember plates on agar do best when not allowed to grow to the edge. Best to make selections sooner rather than later. You can slow or stall growth in a wine fridge or freezer.

Y is yeast. Iâve seen some great growth with a dash of nutritional yeast in my agar.
Does he mean using a different agar formulation in that list every so often to prevent senescence or using one of the formulations he describes to prevent senescence

I know most of you have seen a lot of crazy posts the last few days, but I figured Iâd break this down into a timeline for you to help understand truly how unhinged of a situation this is. Iâll try to break it into a few key points because up until the last few weeks, I really havenât given a single fuck about @millerlitern in any way shape or form as he was never really in my end of the business, country or close to my stage in life as heâs about 20 years older than me.
On the evening of Feb. 20th I was alerted several times to @millerliteRN mistaking an alt account who was making fun of him for myself. I informed him pretty quickly once I saw I was tagged with very colorful language about something I was not doing as he just previously was not worth the time of day for me.
Apparently this hurt his feelings because he had hung onto this animosity for awhile and had verified he had seen my responses with his âGo fuck yourself⌠Alt Account Shitheadâ response later that night on Feb. 20th.
Then, all of a sudden on April 8th he had decided to send me two pictures. The first one being of me and my ex girlfriend - the second one being a close up picture of my daughterâs face which he had cropped me out of for some ungodly reason.
These were both pictures on my facebook that you would have had to been a friend of a friend to view. @millerliteRN is not of that group, so even more concerning that the picture of my daughter was shared from another member who COULD see it. @moveweight had posted the same picture of myself and my ex last year so it wasnât a surprise to see his profile unblocked when previously @moveweight sent those pictures of my family to me and thanks to the links to his facebook from several members could confirm he had me definitively blocked which would make sense because Facebook wonât let you re-block someone for 48 hours for harassment related reasons - but at this point I am more highlighting âcoincidencesâ, such as how on this post -

he speaks quite favorably about the person who had sent pictures of my family to me originallyâŚand then does the same thing he did about a year back, minus sending me a zoomed in picture of my daughterâs face but thatâs neither here nor there because @millerlitern ultimately decided it prudent to send that to me in the dead of night along with the same exact picture @moveweight decided to post a year back too, but as I said, at this point iâm just highlighting coincidences.
Since this incident I have posed the question publicly because if someone is going to send me pictures of my family as an implied threat on their safety, then I want the answerâŚin public.
What was the intention of you sending me pictures of my family? Was that an overt threat on myself and my familyâs safety? Why did you crop me out of the picture of my daughter and only leave her face? Why wonât you directly answer questions about your actions? Who - if anyone, provided you the pictures? If someone provided you the pictures, are the pictures of my little girl still saved on THEIR device, because you, as a random person could not see my profile. Do you still have pictures saved?
@millerlitern 6 days since you sent me a picture of my daughter with me cropped out and of me/my ex with no text at all in it - and have logged in a few times since, so youâve seen these questions posed yet decided that itâs not important enough to respond to.
Anyway. Thank you for reading my timeline of this extremely dumb situation that I canât believe iâm dealing with from a business owner in his 50s.

Not respectable of him at all but maybe another thread that showcases his name on the title would be more sutable location for this
He wonât respond and say a god damn thing for himself. If he didnât bring my baby girl into this it wouldnât be at this point. I made it very clear in that timeline how he took it from 0-100 by thinking an alt was me and then jumping 5000 spaces ahead and dragging family into it.
Thatâs a serious threat to safety so I feel the community needs to be informed.
I get that, but starting a new thread with his name in the title would be a better option, and just keep bumping it every 8 hours, so everyone can see it.
Maybe even make the title alittle juicy and clickbaity, so it gets more attention.
I dont imagine alot of people are on here for the mushies, so they probably dont even click into this thread
