My love for building extractors (diy)

An open sleeve tube in shell like @FicklePickle would look sexy on the end of that rack (where coils are at)

I love this build.

How much did that run you? The main reason I’m going with tube n tube or ordinary circular tubing is the pricing on them damn condensers.

This is originally @TwistedStill’s concept, designed and commissioned by yours truly, and built by @GreenMachine_Consult.

It’s a recovery monster. It creates an unreal amount of vacuum on your recovery system.
All passive!

Nice work my friend. I had something similar in my design, but gave up on the welding costs for the time being. Love the design though. Easy dumping for DI on the top. Kudos

That was a heavy bitch to lift up there. (~285 lbs)

Converted 208 3 PH to 480 3 PH with this Transformer. Disconnect next to it coming from the 208 200 amp panel. Square D 120/240 single phase 200 amp panel on the left. 2/0 wiring being the bitch it is to bend. But I’m almost done. Getting there.

Yep, them wall mount transformers are a bitch to lift lol. Gotta love that unistrut

Yeah, unistrut helped. Problem 1, they sent us the wrong transformer. Hooked up, was reading 547V. Couldn’t believe it. They sent us one that was putting in too much initial Voltage. Problem 2, now we have to make the drive to get a replacement 480V transformer.

Problem 3, now we have to lift that big bitch down again, and lift the replacement. :man_facepalming:t2: We might just stop being the cheap asses we are and rent an A/C lift. For Christ’s sake, Merry Christmas. Lol

If that strut goes all the way to the floor you can try standing it on the strut like raising the side of a barn. Obviously be careful lol

Yeah, it’s all the way to the floor. That would be help getting her down. What doesn’t, we ran current through it, so of course, now they want to charge us a 35% restocking fee… North American Phase Converters. That receptionist is a real piece of work BTW. And she WILL call you a liar. I had to cuss that woman out, and she just laughed.

That’s some fucking bullshit. THEY sent you the wrong unit and now you’re at fault cause you hooked it up and checked it? BS business practices
