I’d say that’s about on par with what I get, about a 4x4ft footprint
agree! CHM for veg
Way better than the HPS spectrum going on for them, much less stretch happening - keeps em nice and compact
However one of my White Truffle moms are just so fuckin stretched even under those it’s just not viable. Like 6 inches between damn branches
Thing is though once you throw cmh lights under leds for flower you won’t have good results. You’ll have to change your feed rates. Food for though for yall.
If you want some killer cheap lights look at the growprosolutions team. Low cost with high power and quality. I can probably provide a discount code as well
thumbs up for Grow Pros yet I’d consider them professional grade LEDs. could be great for anyone but exactly not cheap.
need some high ceilings
I mean 900 for 900w light is pretty good imo compared to a few grand for a 720e or similar 645. You’re getting more output w for you buck with much better customer services through them.
Being able to control dual spectrum is what sold me. Not only do I run their undercanopy lights now but I’ll also be changing a entire room to their 900w or the 1300+ lights (Phoenix or the dragon)
a few grand for a 720w? I don’t know of a brand that sells for that much
Sorry I meant the 1700e gavita last time I looked at those they were still above 2k just looked again and they’re ranging 300-1800 depending who you’re buying it from.
Even the price for the luxx 645’s I currently run is too much for the output and how you can’t get customer service anymore cause they’re out of business bought out by Hawthorne. Don’t get me wrong we put out good numbers, but we can run less lights and get better output with the right lights at a good cost.
I guess to each their own, with what brand you prefer. I enjoy being able to replace the bars though and having water proof diodes especially in veg
I’m seeing the uv and far red supplement bars for bar lights starting to become mainstream, and thus the cheaper brands are starting to make them. I dont think they scale up for a commercial grower, in that the added energy consumption doesnt translate to more yield, but for a hobbyist with small power bills already, that doesnt matter as much.
The iLuminar iLogic UV+FR are very nice commercial fixtures. They have some new lights coming out next month with multi spectrums, etc but will be selling the iLogic8 630w for the time being. It is just one channel so the UV/FR always on.
anyone mess with the Double Ended CMH lamps?
I have a bunch for sale
Hit me @Cheebachiefextracts
Yeah i got the uv and ir bars about to get the far red also…each one needs to be on a separate timer which is kinda a pain
