More decent cheap lights

Ran them for a few cycles and did not see any increase in potency or yields. Awkwardly enough, hash wash % under the UV’s was less than without the UV’s, by a significant margin, could’ve been other factors though too. The data I have read is about the Emerson effect, far reds, and UV. I would just read up on that and try to replicate best you can.

I know more chineese but, i swapped from sodium to burple valspectra to see how LED would do. I like the savings in all ways but shit for real growth. I was not impressed with $1500 lights, so called top of line. My salt water led lights grew better pot. Recently on the last couple I am using grow light science and havent looked back. the plant has a ton of inner grouth. no more dead spots. my buds are bigger as well . I like it outside and wild grown but, when inside I have been happy with them. I feel the technology is now getting better as more research is done.

Viparspectra has a bar light now. Afoaf with a hydro store said they are selling a lot of them.

Mars hydro now has a light similar to (or better than) the viparspectra above, but the price is better.

I tried out a 1000w sun pro off alibaba. They had a 420 sale and usa stock. Came double boxed.
Shipping was free only additional charges were taxes. Par reading and power draw were accurate. Pretty pleased after finishing a round with them and having a few more runs of autos perpetually going under them. If they have the 700s on sale again I think I’m gonna grab another.

Finally got around to converting one of my flower bays with the Growers Choice ROI 720’s. I have 3 of them daisy chained running with the GC Controller. The install on the 720’s is pretty much a no brainer but with the UV Bars that came with them… does anyone know what wattage to set the controller on? I am not finding anywhere that information can be found. The lowest setting on the controller is 350W.

You want 216w of UVA/B for a total of 10% … I push higher than that in early and mid flower.

I can get there with the dimming feature… thanks

I couldnt resist this cheap light deal:

I had never heard of Sanaan before. Output on this light looks similar to my gavita that was $1,100 three years ago. I’m growing for seed anyway, so a cheap light should be fine.

Nice deal for the price and your use. I would have given you my HLG lamps for half that.

Math may be off ,1.7 gpw would be almost 29lbs from 8kw

What’s the recomended affordable lighting for growing mothers to clone ?

I have an hlg b spec that is supposed to be for veg only, but honestly I can’t tell much of a difference.

To add to my earlier post, I still like the medic grow light. My first seed crop went well. It’s a powerful light and could cover a large area for vegging. On the downside, the way all the new lights have far red and uv included looks like a gimmick when compared to my other setup, where I purchased six additional supplement bars for my gavita bar light. The difference in frost is night and day.

I prefer the CMH (ceramic metal halide) lights that are like 325w or something to that effect. My current moms are fucking LOVING it. Every single leaf pointed straight up

How much square feet is lighted by one 325W lamp ?
I usually have 4 mothers per square meter and one 400 hps lamp on 4 square meters so 16 mothers
