Plenty of canna businesses did the exact same thing, burning one investors cash to pay the next, was a common theme amongst the investor bro’s I saw in the space.
I think the market is still going to keep bottoming out until it is fully ubiquitous.
I also agree that THC-A in terms of hemp will definitely be examined, why have a medical cannabis program, or rec program if hemp legislature covers it?
The THC-A loophole was/is one of the wildest things to me.
If I could keep running under that pretense I’d be curious

One of the “few farmers” left here in Oregon. This year is our smallest grow since 2018, mainly being used for our own retail/wholesale products. We still have a good amount of quality biomass from last year that gets sold in small lots and turned into products for the European market. The price increases for biomass/crude/iso barely keep up with inflation/labor and regulatory costs for farmers here on the West Coast. Best pricing I’ve seen since the crash, but still not enough to convince us to grow at scale (input costs are much higher also). Lots of contract offers from major companies but no one wants to help pay for the crop, so we decline them all. I’m one of the owners/co-founders and I haven’t had a day off in months. Gotta do what you have to survive! We are good people and haven’t hosed anyone in the industry (been hosed enough for 2 lifetimes), and are always looking to build our network with smaller extraction labs and genuine businesses. We have the ground, skills and equipment for large grows (high yielding grows, not autos/weeds under pivots), but it pencils out to feed the cows vs the centrifuges. I get calls from out of state constantly about “THCA hemp flower” (LOL!), but Oregon being a Total THC state puts that market out of reach. That disadvantage has caused the amount of growers/acres grown in Oregon to be at its lowest since 2016. What a crazy ride it’s been!

i think i bough a few liters from you. seemed to almost get you high had good terp and was only like 800 per liter 5 years ago= i approve. Its still sitting, i had plans on doing dog stuff wiith it but got lazy. Plus im not fully sold on cbd being anything but a placebo. I never took a day off weed and then dabbed the cbd shit. if i had three week off weed id smoke a bananna peel so id love this. I grew out some kimbo kush 50/50 with harlequin but i had so many types i may not have smokeed it. it was from seed and not a keeper
