Responsibilities:
Utilize your expertise in candy making to produce delicious and consistent batches of cannabis-infused gummies and chocolates.

Requirements:
Multiple years of hands-on experience in the confections industry, with a focus on gummies and chocolates (pectin and gelatin-based).
Strong knowledge of cannabis-infused edibles production, dosing, and infusion methods.
Understanding of food safety regulations and willingness to follow strict compliance guidelines.
Creativity and a passion for experimenting with new flavors and textures in confectionery products.

As head of consumables, I set up our kitchen from scratch to be able to produce 100,000 gummies on a daily basis using automated equipment. I started out from doing everything by hand and have worked with both gelatin and pectin gummies. I have developed about 20 unique and marketable flavors for emerging brands. I have great pride in my gummy candies. They do not taste like distillate, they hit very fast, and they are within 1% variance of the desired dosage.
I also created formulations for medicated soft gel capsules, like advil or nyquil, with various cannabinoids on similar equipment.
I was responsible for maintaining everything that we needed to have an efficient operation including ingredient/packaging sourcing and ordering, recipe formulation and dosing, hiring and payroll, state compliance and reporting, working with corporate and sales for projections, etc.
My passion for cannabis began with cultivation and I have done everything in cannabis manufacturing with hands on experience in trimming, prerolls, flower packaging, gummies, capsules, hash, rosin, ethanol/CO2 and BHO extraction, distillation, and am familiar with automated equipment.
