Try sonicating it, your going to have to experiment with which emulsifiers work with your recipe in terms of taste and effect on texture.

Any recommendations on emulsifiers to start with? Maybe lecithin?

So I learned a few things reading this thread. Homogenizing your product is key. Lets say weāre making gummies/hard candies. Would it be best to homogenize the carrier oil + distillate by itself then adding it to the recipe, or homogenizing the product as a whole?
Homogenizing is 100% needed! You will end up with hot spotsā¦over/under dosed edibles. Homogenize the entire mixture. Creates uniform distribution and particle size!
What do you use to Homogenize?
