Exactly this, we’ve had fights on how to gauge the time it will take to do tasks. I say I should be done in 30 min, cut to me covered in coolant, swearing, likely bleeding, looking for my 5/8 socket, and adjustable wrench (both in my pockets).

Id say invest in a few cheap lab coats, if you get anything on you you can at least take it off and it doesn’t ruin your street cloths.

Fire resistant, anti static, and even has a magnet on the sleeve to hold stuff. Hoodie style kangaroo pocket for the win!
