Local prices for shatter?

I’m certain you know more than I do buddy n I wasn’t trying to sound like a douchue sorry just reread that comment n it sounded pretty douchey

Ive been curious if the memes are reflecting real prices or if people are trying to drive the price up on IG, like a marketing tactic. I believe that things are different from last year but not to the extent that I have seen on IG. people saying things like #2400isthenewlow I find it hard to believe that outdoor is going for 2400 certainly havent seen that reflected where I am at. But im curious what you guys think? Maybe a little bit of both?

also in mendo

Not it shouldn’t be I don’t where you get your stuff but I’m in the heart of Northern Cali and A1 shatter is way more than 300 an ounce your crazy

And ounces of A1 are easily 300 (Gelato and biscotti) your not getting any A+ in Cali at those prices

I’m In NorCal SF. Even my best shatter is only 10 a g and sauce is never more than 18 a g, especially with crc tek. But I’ve had my same contacts for years now and don’t really branch out to new people.

Supply and demand
Different places have different prices, some people’s overhead is a lot lower than other muthafuckas
And what some people call quality is different than what others call quality,
Some people do bigger runs, or toll processing and hence end up with more product and can give better bargains
And some shops have 10$ live resin so why would somebody pay you 15 or more when they can go to the shop and pick(normally not a lot of 10$ decent ones but they’re there)
I’m stoked to live where I can ask 5 people what they got and get a decent list to chose from

idk if someone asked me for a $10 live resin gram they would be renamed in my phone as “lowballer” or “brokeboi” or “dontanswer”.

I don’t know why you guys think $10 live resin grams are funny. Personally, that’s like me renaming people that charge $15 a gram “ripoff” “hustler” “brokeboi” cause they are the ones not selling bulk product.

If you can buy fresh frozen flower for $100 a lb. each of them #s return 15-20g. You can do 200# + a day.

So you can buy 200#s for 20k. And make 3500-4200 grams. And get $10 a g bulk.

What’s wrong with making 15-20k a day after expenses. Doing it 5 days a week and clearing 100k. 5.2m a year. Hmmmm

That’s why this industry is so fucked up. To many producers looking at their customers pockets. Trying to charge upwards up dispensary prices on the street.

And that was $100 wpff. We all know before this little drough. Around January-February, Wpff was around $60-75 a #.

I don’t understand how everyone think this is crazy. I know several people in the triangle dumping $3000 lbs of crc badder. I know the current price of badder isn’t much off the price of live resin. Why such a difference.

In CO i see a lot of deals for $250 oz of shatter in rec shops, that is decent quality.

but im not dumping 4 liters of sauce at 10 a g. I make like 100 grams and then piece it out. No way I would be able to do 10 a g for it. Id rather smoke it. Sure I could knock the dust off the goliath extractor and pump out 200 units a day but I dont have those plugs on fresh frozen. I buy from local growers and I outbid anyone on fire material. I hate lowballing so much that I pay more than I should , if and only if the material is fire.

Fuck I’m down to pump it out if someone wants to be mr moneybags, I have all the equipment.

Head up north here. I just figured out some legal Canadian mumbo jumbo based on indigenous rights …100000 outdoor plants legally…

If it was that easy everyone would be balling my bro. We did the math on what CRC cost a G and overhead is about $6 a G. That’s a black market dream but we all know that it’s only worth it if you get away with it.

@BG305 how do you figure $6/g overhead? we run 60lb a day, five days a week, and produce and average of 6000g a day. The cost of CRC material for us is roughly $200 per day. That only comes out to about $.03 per gram for CRC material costs. I’m operating in a rec market so my input material cost could be drastically cheaper then yours but are you saying that $6/g is your total cost or just what CRC ends up costing you? In my market what @Killa12345 said about unloading at $10/g is absolutely doable and definitely a money maker. I’ve talked about this before on other threads but due to the excise taxes retailers have to run about a 3x markup. This forces the market to shift into slimming margins and moving a higher volume to make money.

I’m a few beers deep so my math could be a little off… don’t judge me.

I can get good live sugar for 12/g for a few pounds

10/g to consumer sounds crazy low

Ok if your overhead is $6g and you sell 4000g @ 10g. Thats a 16K profit. Just like my example above. Im not saying for the consumer, but when you are buying a lb-10lbs of diamonds. Thinking your gonna get $20-30 a g selling weight is just absurd.

And i get @Apothecary36 example too…if you only have 100g ofcourse your not gonna let them go for 10g. Im only talking weight.

this whole thread started off talking the local prices for weight. No 100g is not weight. I think this starts off at a lb of concentrates and over a liter in distillate really.
