Lets set D8 straight

Damn. He gets a walkie.

Edit- Also, dm me the cost, directions to that smoke wagon, and address to send the walkie.

I agree this is a big opportunity for people to skip a crucial step.

I don’t think it’s the passionate ones that will define the d8 market in the coming months or so. Even with instructions for solvent distillation and reagent purification at their disposal the bulk of d8 producers will probably continue to use their low cost low time investment SOPs.

We can never stop scum from doing scumy things.

May as well give those whom would do it well, and properly, the opportunity and tools to do so.

of course they will; its the BM we all have to worry about; our community is one thing; and we can self regulate each other; but the BM dont give a fuck; think about the 100s of Ls of pesticide hot disty that are super pervasive and sold in every market. They will do whatever they can to keep the profit margins high; they dont care about medicine they care about money.

the way i see it; its us Vs them; and itll always be that way

@RockSteady This forumn has a pretty broad reach though man… we can do what we can and maybe start a movement. Or just feel good about trying. Either way we will all have walkies.

Ye Ive seen d9 disty getting cut or from conversion showing up in some channel im involved in. You can tell because the smell/texture generally. Idk but i have to ask if there are polymerized residues adding to the unknowns.

thats why we must standardize the method, get it out in their face so the would be stupid to choose any other options. no paywalls, no $10k methods none of that.
shit post that shit to reddit where most of these wooks reside

@RockSteady Been about this life since I first read through the d8 whistle blowers attacks. Alot of shit is being taken as fact right now that just doesn’t have the data for me to consider solid. Alot. Can we fix the whole problem? Probably not. Can we do what we can to get the knowledge out so that anyone still on the dark side knows they are hurting people and can be lynched as such? You betcha.

Plus we get walkies.

im down for walkies

we can atleast do our part and contribute something of value to industry as a whole; im not a fan of d8 personally; id rather just consume d9; but d8 still helps tons of people; its value as a medicine cannot be understated; people call it diet weed like thats a bad thing; people need diet weed like people need diet soda (not really aspartame and whatnot, but you get the analogy)

its our job to educate; both the manufacters and the custies; we need to let the customers know not to buy BM carts from their local porn video shop, and we need to educate the manufacters; both legit and BM; that there needs to atleast some standards in place when producing

/end rant

I’m likely buying a chroma column or two. Wasn’t specifically shooting for d8 separation, but I’ll probably give it a try. I got a GC-fid, so can provide some analytics

Let’s keep it on topic. I just cut out the clutter…

Which are you looking at?

I think @SidViscous and I have RXI-35Sil MS and RXI-624Sil MS columns. Not sure about the others off hand

Yep that’s what I’ve got. They’re also probably the most common GC columns used in the industry because they’re what Restek recommends. It’ll be interesting to see if a long method on a shorter column than the 100M monster @iontrap listed will get sufficient separation. I’m hoping if we standardize the method, us MS users can provide elution times/orders for known contaminates that the FID users can apply

I also want to point out that this testing is going to get more important for everyone who’s only interested in real weed too because converted d9 is going to certainly become more prevalent

Yep that’s the only way I see any progress in this

Sadly that is treu
But on the positive side if. 10 of us decide to do this as well as we can
100000 consumers Will benefit

The world is a beautiful place and worth fighting for .

I agree with the second part

At the same time I am pretty convinced
But a few parameter modifications will lead to far cleaner product
My main fear at the moment is the aggressive nature of ptsa monohydrate
Would not be surprised if that turns out to be the main culprit
