I don’t even have a problem with whoever this dude is really, he just went on a rampage for no reason, and At the time didn’t feel like explaining why, just some unfounded wild rampage.

:man_shrugging: Oh well tho, is what it is, my dad said once if you want everybody to like you, you should probably sell ice cream.

you sound like just the idiot to play chess with pigeons. Thought you were smart. you just speak in pictures you stole from the internet that you are not clever enough to make yourself… need some crayons?

Couple of the juveniles on this thread are more interested in talking trash than staying on point.
I’m an engineer and the only thing that impresses me is hard data.
This is my experience regarding the original subject of this thread.

Starting with some Kimbo Kush bud and shake, air dried.
Yield to kief using a kief roller in a freezer = 30.2%
Yield to raw oleoresin using triple chilled EtOH extraction of the kief = 29.2%
Overall oleoresin yield from air dried starting material = 8.8%
Comparable yield to oleoresin using direct, triple pass, chilled EtOh extraction = 11.5%

So the overall yield to raw crude by first making kief then extracting the kief is only 77% of what I could get by direct extraction of the same raw material.
This finding indicates that about 23% of the available extractables do not pass through the kief roller and are left behind in the biomass.

To recover this resin it is necessary to extract the biomass after it passes through the kief roller.
Apparently this is what ToOmUcH is doing.
“lmao I wash the remaining material and leave nothing to waste nice try though…”
I cannot understand why someone would want to make kief, extract it then have to also extract the residual biomass to get decent recovery.
IMO, that is a very inefficient process.

Since this is not a distillation thread, what you do with the raw oleoresin is up to you.
Data talks, bullshit walks!

My bad if I offended. I did assume you were making something tasty. Didn’t take your end result into consideration.

Do you think you’re pulling more terpenes, more moisture or something about the ph co2 ?

@Apothecary36 I was personally thinking maybe the contact with dry ice may have pulled more moisture either from the environment(really humid place and condensation may have occurred)or the dry ice causes the moisture in the flower to “crystallize and that makes it through the screen I used. The other possibility I thought was the co2 affecting the ph of my concentrate making it more malleable

Try letting the kief cure in some mol sieve
