On my way to work another 2-3 month consult in New Mexico building out my 3rd solventless lab.

Will be the 5th overall consult for solventless processing.

Anyone in need of solventless, safety, or compliance SOPs, MTRC management, employee handbook or training manual writing, solventless lab design or construction, equipment or material procurement, packaging design and sourcing, product development (solventless vapes, edibles, cold cure, jam etc) and pre-post processing consultation can reach out for rates and availability.

I will be looking for onsite work following this project or remote consultation concurrently with the NM gig.

Sorry to pop out the blue, what do you have your degree in? I am about to start taking classes in spring for horticulture but I might switch to biology or chemistry.

I have 2 years commercial scale cannabis cultivation experience, and am trying to figure out the steps I should be taking to eventually start to climb the ladder up into management.

I’ve been asking advice from members on here if one of those degrees are even worth it in the cannabis industry. Most of them think a degree is a useless in the cannabis industry. But then there are also others who say the exact opposite.

Just tryna touch base with someone who has been in the industry a while and understands the behind the scenes of operations. Would be awesome if I could get in touch with an employer or hiring recruiter to ask what they consider when bringing people into management.

Thanks for the time! Cheers!

In my experience, a degree will be worth more with an MSO than a mom and pop. That’s not to say it’s worth your while to get, it depends on your aptitude and interest.

I personally wouldn’t advise anyone to get a degree to advance a career they wouldn’t be interested in getting on its own merits. Ymmv.

Get your degree in business management. If you go the botany route your pigeon hole yourself. I feel engineering and business are the only things that are worth going to school for. And really you go to school for the network if your gonna get the most out of it. I met my business partner in school.
