Yes, adding in a lower vapor pressure hydrocarbon will reduce the pressure.

Most might not find this interesting, but a few might . . .

There are 2 US companies in the aerosol business, producing and blending odorless hydrocarbons and even other miscible materials to provide aerosol propellants with different vapor pressures. Those companies are Diversified and Aeropres. Diversified purifies these aerosol grades to 99.5% and supplies to the botanical extraction industry. Aeropres does not support the industry.

On topic, here is a link to a showing some standard aerosols blends, listed by the desired vapor pressure of the aerosol and showing the blend formula %ages of Nbut, Iso & Pro to arrive at that pressure.
