somehow I doubt they had an indiana bubblegum clone. theyd probably cross it with early pearl or dumb shit like that too.
You’re welcome my friend.
Let’s go!
redman said almost all my 15 year old seeds popped- no osmoprime or fancy shit i think.
That’s great to hear. Osmopriming can be useful for old seeds that won’t germinate with simple methods. Just another tool in the toolbox.
im surprised, i should pop some to see if he was lying. I just put out lawn seed thats 8 years old and theoretically wont germinate, I did a tester in a pot to see too.
If seed are kept at a constant moisture, and aren’t over dried, they can sit at room temp for ten years, and still have 100% germination rate.
mine were 15 years old and he said they all popped I dunno if he meant all.
when I buy seed I understand that 80 percent germ is acceptable. I get upset at bad m/f rates but thats not the breeders fault.
@thumper out of all the ones i popped maybe 10 didn’t and that’s generous estimate. I lost one pack you sent and just found it the akx a11 i think
Nvm its makiado and something
@thumper
I have questions about something Masonic said was a “true story someone told him”
Indiana bubblegum is strawnana? Someone said it’s the strawberry pheno of it? Dafuq thought it was the pineapple pheno folks were after?
No. IBG is an equatorial landrace, Afghani and forgotten cube originally bred by my buddy Steve in the late 80’s with genetic sharing from around the world with David Watson.
In '93, it was given to TH Seeds and Serious Seeds in Amsterdam. Their S1’s ended up with the typical syrupy strawberry flavors. Nevil Shoenmakers found similar phenotypes by crossing landraces around that time as well. Adam Dunn is a shitbag trying to cling on to the coat tails of that story somehow too. After that, the gene pool became polluted with diluted hybrids.
EDIT: The pineapple pheno I am always chasing after is Cinderella 99 from Brothers Grimm that was my jam in the 2000’s.
Thank you for true history brother ![]()
I hope you find both of those in these. I big maybe might be able to track down the og bubblegum back in ohio if i can find there numbers
the 8 year old past expiration lawn seed is looking ok in a test pot Im gonna use it. I didnt really seed yet just threw a handful out and it hasnt been rainy.
The sativa looking cut of atf that smelled like orange candy that was round the pnw In the 90’s -00’s? If so I always saw it labelled as mvtf/tange. Or are you talking bout one of the indica phenos? There were quite a few good cuts around
Isn’t purple lavender (purple Kush x lavender kush)?
Could’ve sworn it was a lavender (aka lavender kush) cross with purple Kush.
I’ve seen the classic soma lavender cut floating round the willamette valley a few times recently
Some scuffing and ga3 can work wonders. Careful with the ga3 I have turned plants into something not even recognizable as cannabis before with to much which wasn’t much at all to start with.
How does one acquire a bogglegum seed
I don’t doubt this, but I’ll chime in with my “illegal state my entire life, always buying BM retail” two cents and say that a zip of Cinderella 99 I got mailed from California in 2012 or so may have been the best weed I’ve ever had. If I could get my hands on more, I’d hype it all I could!
