Hello everyone,
I am experimenting with different fertilization techniques to optimize the yield and quality of my cannabis plants. I have heard about some innovative methods like biochar amendments; foliar feeding with micronutrients; and the use of organic compost teas.
Please share their experiences with these / other advanced fertilization techniques?
What is the most effective in maximizing both yield and cannabinoid content? I have checked https://future4200.com/t/about-the-botany-and-cultivation-category/94- splunk documentation guide but still need advice .
Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance .

I just searched for fertilizer and a bunch of good stuff came up:
@Roguelab shared a couple of these links with me in another thread. Instead of continuing to derail a valuable extraction thread I figured I would start one dedicated to this sort of topic.
I have been making and using home made em-1 fpe’s and em-5 with great results. Next summer I will be taking roguelabs suggestion of burning plants with a high silica content and then using the ashes as a source of silica for my outdoor crop. I recycle soil each round and I have switched to water soluble ad…
Two studies from the University of Guelph on fertilizer rates on cannabis in veg/flower seem to show the limits of nitrogen fertilization return in cannabis. Furthermore in flowering the potency per gram decreased from 21% to 16% following the increasing nitrogen rates. However, the total THC and biomass of flower yield increased with more nitrogen. So my take is for high potency boutique buds feed less and if you’re growing for extract or distillate etc feed heavier to increase total THC/hash y…
(Shameless plug) Don’t forget fulvic, amino and organic acids in AGT-50 Fulvic Mineral Complex. Let me know if you want a sample.
AgTonik is a B2B wholesale manufacturer that produces AGT-50™, an OMRI organic fulvic, amino and organic acid with minerals and trace element supplement for cannabis. It’s a bit out of the ordinary for a fertilizer supplement to advertise here, but we love Future4200 and want to enhance the gardens that go into cannabis extracts.
AGT-50™ is one of the most concentrated sources of fulvic acid available. It contains 33 organic acids and13 amino acids. It is colloidal, water extracted (versus hydr…
