Infusing Flavors into Flower

Has anyone successfully infused natural flavors (fruit, mint, etc.) into hemp/cannabis flower?

What is the tried and true way to do this effectively and efficiently?

Would it be similar to the way tobacco
Companies infuse flavors into cigars?

Yikes…I could see infusing some terpenes into flower with a bad cure for personal uses, though. Likely a lot of people would be salty that you’ve added stuff to flower- the direction right now is no unnecessary additives- I can see the value in the concept, but this is the absolute worst thing you could do right now…so many people tripping about chemicals added to cannabis products…with all due respect, you been seeing the news? Lol 2 horrible things wrapped into one there- adding chemicals to cannabis, and those things are flavor compounds…if you want to send a big fuck you to the prez tho, dump some flavoring all over some “Trump” (T1, I think that’s the other name of the strain) hemp flower and call it Ban-nibis flower

I see your point. But concept at end of the day is some people just like flavored things. Having the option is the luxury.

What is sticky boogaz?

i smoke menthol cigs i make myself.
one day i put a joint into my pack.
in about 3-4 hours it had very strong
menthol flavor.

then i make flavored hash for myself.
i do that with diffused cigar filler tobacco.
drew estates acid C notes cigars box filler
is what i use.
so yes you can do flavorings.
never tried it with terpenes.

If you must

Terpenes, use a small spray bottle and spray the flowers.

Done

Much like “flavored” flower… flavored cigars should not be a thing either… why ruin it?

@Future you ever seen sticky boogaz?

Why do a lot of people grow smokable hemp that taste garbage. It’s just reasoning.
I personally enjoy a company that infuses they’re pre rolls with terps Cbd only. & I’ll say that it’s some smooth smoke forsure. Doesn’t ruin the experience. & if done properly the flower on the inside (they use flower not biomass) still has a great structure & texture. Even keif.

I dunno… If im smoking anything, just like my coffee, I dont want anything added. I wanna taste the taste of the plant, fruit, leaves… whatever it maybe.

Or put terpenes on cotton ball and place in bag. Let sit overnight and should be good to go.

I hear you on that, but honestly you’d have to try these. No weird taste. Taste literally like real flower.

Anyone ever smoked cob cured cannabis?

yeah- I’ve heard of this, a company the other day was mentioned in Reddit- they add terps to hemp flower. The reaction on the page was NOT good lol. I think the reasoning is not a bad grow but a bad cure- no one wants to buy hay flavored flower that’s also super low thc. I could see a market for flavored hemp cigs, but I think that’s gonna catch alot of shit by people every step of the way from the distro to the consumer…convenience store market, maybe- like the same folks who use flavored wraps, maybe? Of course then he’s referring to cherry, apple, ect prob not terps

Check out confettihemp
I distribute for them in my area.

Full disclosure, ConfettiHemp is a company I work with.

They take single source hemp buds from one of the big hemp farms in S. Oregon I advise for, grind it, infuse it with terps blended to match specific strain profiles, roll it into cones, package it up nicely.

They had been doing this for years in the Washington rec market with THC joints with great success, and adapted the model to hemp.

Total added terps to flower is well below 1%, yet blind tests with users (mostly older dads) showed noticeable differences in effects between various “strains” (a subjective result for sure, and being a heavy consumer, I don’t feel the same effects)

They also sell the buds that are rolled into the cones separately, no terps added. However supply is limited on the quality of buds they choose to use, it being September and all. I have a couple lbs laying around still, but its been out of the cold storage for at least a month and loses good terp smell quick this late outside of the cold locker

All of this is openly advertised and labeled on the products.

oh yeah I’m not saying terpene infused cones are a bad idea at all- in fact I even bought a cbd cone domain and designed a logo for it and set up a template site, then got distracted with all sorts of other stuff lol- I mean more the fruit flavors that aren’t botanically derived
