I'm thinking about quitting cannabis because of negative effects

I think he meant the previous poster, not you.

I’m a giant failure of a law school graduate. I just can’t be a scum bag lawyer. Money isn’t that important to me, must be all the weed I smoke. I’ve watched my classmates go on to become lawyers and seen how quickly it ages them. They call that success, but it doesn’t interest me. Do what makes you happy, that’s what is important in life.

I’ve seen this bordered by different things on memes, I’ve seen it on posters, I’ve been told that so many times.

You know what I’ve come to realize is that when I like something it’s a hobby-worthy endeavor but making money out of anything I enjoy doing is like trying to take a bath with a toaster.

I think that I truly am one of those people that needs to, “just pick something” and see how well it goes.

Was gonna do hvacr a few years back but that was too expensive and I didn’t want to go into debt for something that may or may not end with something tangible.

Even simply knowing/realizing what makes you happy can be very challenging if you’ve never truly felt it before.

In the absence of resilient self esteem and catalyzed by mental health and societal issues, this is what led to the opioid crisis. It’s already beginning in Europe, too.

could anyone imagine were someone would take life advice from another person that goes on to pornhub and tries to insult amateur porn actors and actresses as a way to get off?? This is what he means by finding happiness

or better yet… goes on to a drug forum then asks for help entrapping another member simply because a deal fell threw.

maybe @roipleks next piece of advices is to let him prescribe you a lethal dose of some opiates like he did with his own family. could you imagine being a pharmacist… and doing something like that… and here hes talking about finding happiness. LOL

Big pharmaceutical will never fix the problem
Trust me I spent half my life on meds and all it did was suppress and inhibit my ability to learn and be what society deems normal
I have lived and still wake up with anxiety, depression, bipolar, BPD
And suicidal thoughts
I can say hands down cannabis can and wil help for so long
I started micro dosing mushrooms and it helped a lot
I was in the same position so I quit or do I continue to prove the stereotype of cannabis consumers wrong

I give you props for trying to stop cannabis consumption
But I don’t think pharmaceutical meds of any kind will help they only make you dependent on them, I have first hand experience taking most of the meds you can think of
And after everything none of it helped it made it worse

Helped my fiancé quit. I proposed to my girl a couple months ago and we both want to make some life changes that we think will benefit our lives.

I don’t plan on giving it up entirely but once I’m at 18% thca flower I’m gonna put the effort into stopping for a solid 3 months to a year.

I feel like I should stop for the amount of time I’ve been smoking. Which is nearly 20 years, this year is 17 years of smoking cannabis. I’ve been smoking since 2008, since I was 15.

I mean when I cough I sound like my gramma’s old 1980’s G.E. Toast-R-Oven opening. I don’t sound good. I’m coughing out black stuff.

I think that habitual cannabis use isn’t a good thing but I also think it’s extremely good for the autism’s low neuroplasticity and the resistance to change. I think that addiction is addiction and you can become addicted to weed. It’s a substance, it doesn’t matter if it’s from a fucking plant.

You’re on the right path.

Keep in mind that inhaling smoke of all kinds will lead to inflammation and damage to capillary blood vessels.

If anything, you need to stop smoking immediately.

After I rip the bong and cough. Not when I cough normally. I don’t split out black stuff all the time.

I stay away form blunts unless I drink. I smoked cigarettes for like 10 years and quit about 4 months intothe first alerts about covid when it was still called the Wuhan virus.

to this day i can’t understand how stupid people must be to actually fall for the explanation that it was “from bats in a cave 200km away” when USAID openly sponsored GoF research with Coronavirus at WIV.

The next pandemic is right around the corner, your good guy Rand Paul said they found evidence of Nipahvirus genome in supposed Coronavirus samples from WIV. Nipahvirus has 30% mortality rate. If there’s an outbreak like that, we’re done

I didn’t get the vaccine for Covid-19. I got covid though and it was agony. Felt like spikes and needles were coming out of almost every pore on my skin.

I got the rushed H1-N1 vaccine in the mid 2000’s the one from chicken embryos and I was so sick after that for 2 weeks and the injection site was bruised for at least 2 months.

The Encephalitis usually does people in but you’re right it’s around 30%-70% mortality.

But anyways let’s not derail this.

Same, i didn’t want the Covid vaccine because i somehow had a hunch it wasn’t safe before all the stuff about it causing myocarditis in young men came to light, but my Ex and her mom pressured me into getting the shot, and sure enough i ended up in hospital with myocarditis.

Like you i also had really bad reaction to Flu shots. I got them 2 years in a row, got sick from the shots for a week each and still got the flu which wasn’t that much worse than the shot.

I think you should take a tolerance break for a few months, it will totally reset you. I did a T-break for 6 months when I first started taking escitalopram (similar to lexapro), and it did wonders for my mood and discipline. After that tolerance break, it was like starting from scratch.

lexapro is in fact escitalopram

Pneumonia vaccine this year landed me in the ER for a day. I hate anti-vaccine politics, and those morons are causing measles, smallpox, TB, etc. resurgence.
However, I can’t shake the feeling that a lot of these new vaccines are just large scale human clinical trials at best… who knows at worst.

Do I have a poor understanding of how vaccine effectiveness vs intention? Have vaccines always been as bad(short term side-effects and/or long-term complications) as the actual illness they intend to prevent?

Is it a conspiracy, recent incompetency, or medical industry aggrandizement?
