I want to make a terpene free decarbed diamond cart

I would like to make a nearly scentless cart with THCa as a starting material. My first thought is to use CBD crystal resistant distillate to reduce viscosity of the D9-THC, as pure THC will clog a CCEL TH2 fairly quickly.

My question is, does anyone have any experience they can share with this? Questions I have are

Can i reduce the viscosity sufficently with a crystal resistant CBD distillate (approx 50% cbd, 25% cbg + minors)

What kind of ratio would work? I am an end user here so my opportunities for screwing up are few. Carts are expensive when you aren’t purchasing at scale.

Or any better ideas? The idea behind lack of terpenes in the cart is for stealth use.

I am not open to using semi-synthetic cannabinoids either, naturally created cannabis products only. Not to imply synthetics are inherently dangerous, simply that I lack the ability to verify the composition of a synthetic

Use 7.5% CBC.

OR preferably 3% CBC and 4.5% viscous other minors.

You’ll need this fair bit without Terpenes.

The CBC on the market is usually synthetic. I cannot afford testing to verify its purity

There are many reputable vendors here for it and I venture to say if you are concerned about testing in that fashion even your CBD and CBG should be tested to the same level.

I bet you can find several members here with KCA tests if you are concerned with purity. Not sure if they can identify if it is natural or converted.

Why not just use odorless distillate? What benefit are you getting from such an overly complicated process of reconstituting something already available in bulk?

Repeatability, not all odorless distillate is made the same.
I would say all “odorless” thca diamonds are more similar to each other than “odorless” disty.

Not to mention distillate is fraught with it’s own issues, mainly I have no way to determine if its converted or not. I am not in a medical or recreational state, so I am limited on inputs available to me.

I was able to heat up diamonds on a hot plate (hot enough to decarb, but not hot enough to vape), and melted them into a crystal free gel that ran through carts. There was still about 40% THCa, and the rest was THC from the diamonds. The carts tasted like shatter, and didn’t recrystallize over a year.

Interesting. Do you remember what hardware you used?

No, but they were cheap and made in Chia Na. :cn:

Thanks a lot! I’ll do some more experiments this weekend

then you shouldnt be making anything for public consumption!! safety first then profit!!

I am making this for personal consumption only, hence my lack of funding for testing of synthetic inputs. In an illegal state it is rather foolish to buy carts off the black market, and I flat out don’t trust the composition of the “THCa hemp” carts available. So, I am trying to make my own from natural only sources for myself to use

oh forsure give it a go then!

Conversion is a damn curse. I see your reasoning now.

I will tell you that a 50% THC, 50% CBD, no terpene cart will not crystallize. I kept a stock of these for years with no change.

See what I say about @LikesRetardedPosts

This guy is a retard who spam likes super random post that are not retarded in anyway.

I have natural Cannabicitran (CBT). Price is similar to CBC but natural. Has the viscosity of maple syrup. Completely odorless. It’s the only cannabinoid I sell.

I can show you results that confirm it’s not made from a conversion. One of the coolest chromatograms I’ve ever seen actually. Also have had multiple batches tested by KCA Labs for third party COA.

I used to use CBT but got some complaints on taste. I’d love to see what you are working with!

You can finely grind 20g of diamonds, then mix with 1g of CBG isolate, and .3g of CBD isolate. Decarboxylate the diamond dust while mixed with the other cannabinoids in a canning jar submerged a water bath of ~ 194°F with the lid loosely closed. You can add argon gas to minimize interaction with oxygen. The carbon dioxide will form a protective blanket around the material. The result should be minimal conversion to CBN due to less interaction with oxygen and sub 200°F temperature. Any residual terpene content in the diamond and isolates will also be partially purged by the process, making the vape smoother.

The reaction will take a few days and the result will be about 18.8 g of material with a ~17.5:.3 THC:CBD ratio and ~5% CBG content. You can adjust the cannabinoid content to your liking, i.e., 1:1 THC:CBD, etc. You can also add terpene content.

A precise vacuum oven would be better in terms of reducing decarboxylation time while minimizing conversion to CBN. This is a viable and inexpensive alternative.

Not just a spoon, but a damn shovel. Thanks!
