Fun fact: you can buy 1,4-BDO (GHB analogue) on Amazon as eyelash remover.
And people say the hemp industry has no scruples.

I think we have different definitions of “fun facts” this is sad…
I’d say it ranks somewhere between
Fun fact: otters hold hands so they don’t fall asleep when they float away
and
Fun fact: one day your parents picked you up and then put you down for the last time, and you can never go back.
Fun fact: Everyone you know and love you will either lose one day, or they will lose you.
not if your spirit haunts them… im going to have my memory uploaded to a computer like johnny depp in that weird move…
Fun fact: this is all there is, once you die its just entropy.
That can’t be a fact if my dead dad talks to me all the time. Trying to get the powerball numbers from him
Fun fact, psychosis is misdiagnosed all the time as being “spiritual”.
Sad fun facts are fun…
Well my cousin smoked a pack a day for several years and was also able to quit willy nilly. That doesn’t mean you’re wrong but there are exceptions in some people. Also on a forum full of drug users you should know better than to pull the “your addiction wasn’t real” card.
Also to the people ragging on my terminology, “D9 flower” is more of a colloquialism at this point and you know that. I know Delta 8 is generally made through an isomerization from CBD and I know that “THCA flower” is just regular bud with Delta 9 that hasn’t gone through decarboxylation yet and is therefore technically a different and legal substance. I know you can’t grow D8. C’mon now. But actually it’s also kind of my point, I’m forced to use these terms with the average person or else they have no clue what I’m talking about.
I don’t know if this is true or just made up bullshit from the Internet but I’ve heard in more tribal nations that they see schizophrenia less as insanity and more as being able to talk with spirits.
Ironically this only further cements my belief that religion is inherently insane.
Theres only one true religion, give yourself to lord Xenu, and get your thetan levels in balance for the great uprising into space, scientology provides the only REAL answer.
It is also said that schizophrenia in other cultures is less paranoid derived and more playful.
Cultural influences totally affect perceptions, which is fascinating.
Also, having that perception makes sense as to why they wouldn’t have such painful delusions.
my schizophrenic delusions say things like “d8 is exactly like cannabis, its practically the same thing”
And its definitely the paranoid/scary type of schizophrenia.
Lmfao. Why would you assume I have no first hand experience? I’ve first hand experience from every perspective — short of having a parent who is an addict. My sister is dead. My brother is on the way. My nephew is dabbling.
I’ve watched friends start with pills before switching to heroin — I’ve had like… a two year period where every girl I dated turned out to be using heroin. I know a woman who was addicted to her pills but wasn’t a junkie. I had a friend who was a heroin user, who wasn’t a junkie.
I know a woman who’s still a junkie and she’s sober. I know a woman who’s been on methadone for twenty years. The man who did almost all of my tattoos died on his nephews couch and his nephew blames himself, because he thought he was sleeping.
My mother works in addiction treatment, her ex-husband works in addiction treatment, my uncle works with “bad” kids, my aunt is a social worker, my grandmother is a retired social worker.
I was given opiates at 12, up to a high point of 9 pills a day at 16, nevermind the literally dozens of shots of morphine I’ve received in the hospital. What the fuck first-hand experience am I missing?! Lol.
But let me guess. Now that I’ve established I have first hand experience, you’ll move the goal post and my first hand experience doesn’t matter anymore?
First of all, don’t smoke delta 8. It needs to be in a pill, a gummy, a liquid, or what not.
Do you know what sebutex is? It’s what they give to pregnant women instead of suboxone. Fun fact; suboxone is cheaper on the black market than sebutex.
Do you know why? I would be truly impressed if you do, because honestly you don’t seem well versed in this subject.
I’m with you on going cold turkey, it is absolutely the best way to beat an addiction — but have you actually ever told a junkie to go cold turkey? I do ALL THE TIME. They do not appreciate it.
And I don’t really know what you mean by “people who smoke weed don’t find it as a good replacement therapy.” Can you elaborate?
Heroin junkies, by and large, do not enjoy smoking cannabis. Delta 9 tends to increase anxiety and paranoia which just exacerbate mental illnesses. Not to mention, junkies tend to accrue ill will from society around then, so even without mental illness the anxiety and paranoia can be substantial side effects.
I know two men who separately went to colombia for ibogaine treatment, to beat their opiate addictions. One of them earnestly wanted to quit, and when he got back he really did stop using.
The other one thought the drug would make him quit. That he would magically lose his addiction, and there would be no allure to the drug, anymore. He spent thousands of dollars on that trip and only went a couple weeks sober before starting back up.
The secret ingredient is wanting to quit
So what use is iboga then? if you really want to quit opioids, you quit them.
Imho proper stoners smoke for taste. As their tolerance is built up, taste ends up being the primary factor of enjoyment. All the good terp profiles are copies of d9 grows. Everything else is trying to emulate the original formula. Your argument is akin to arguing for corn syrup coke out of a can, instead of with cane sugar and cocaine out of a glass bottle like god intended
Most people who smoke standard cannabis find D8 as not a good replacement.
D8 is pretty ineffective. it’s hopeful at best to think it would work for opiates or opiods.
It’s known that semi opiates or cold turkey are the best options. Sometimes, replacement therapy works, but often times, its just another way to feed the underlying addiction. However replacement therapy to softer physically dependent substances is a good idea.
And the key to quitting anything, you have to want it first.
No replacement therapy, detox center, rehab, or cold turkey-ing will work if you dont want to change your habits.
I knew people that quit meth with DMT, problem was, they were just smoking DMT all the time. Which, arguably, was still incredibly iffy at best…
My friend I talked about earlier spent several years in court-ordered drug treatment therapy with multiple counselors to answer the question of why he used meth. When his long probation stint was ending, they had to submit a report, and the answer to that question was “because he likes it.”
