There is no honor left in china my bro. All they know how to do is copy and imitate others work. If they had a drop of inginuity they would improve on designs but they cant even copy correctly. Most of the knockoff shit is way out of spec and doesn’t work like the original.

I’ve seen this happen aswell; if you dont ramp up the temps from ambient to the target temp this will happen.
First time it happened to me me I set it to 80c; from about 20c; didnt think anything of it; next thing I know I hear a pop; and I see that the cheap little steel cap that covers the reservoir has been poped off a bit; smoke is billowing out of the unit; and I could see a small flickering light emanating from the interior of the reservoir. I shut off the unit and grabbed the fire extinguisher; thankfully I didn’t have to use it.
But yeah; cheap heaters will flame up if you dont ramp the temps gently.

We ramp at 5C at a time all the way up because weve seen the smoke… no other heater i own has exposed elements.

Why do you persist on patent , copywrite and overall copying people and thier intetectual property. Are you that pathetic you guys can’t make anything on your own.
