How much is thc distillate going for?

Can’t even get 5k for them right now in NorCal

My customers have all said they get around 7.5-12 depending on where it goes.
clean disty from a trusted source is hard to find now adays.

Just remember brown and or red disty in liter jars barely filled so they can look better is going for alot less than bright high potency diary. When the gear is pushing out tomorrow product you get those prices. Otherwise when the price is low you know that person is sitting on it

What’s wrong with it? Total cannabibinois is the bottom line.

How do you figure?
cannanaboids are cannanaboids, correct.

When you spd, your fractioning off cannanaboids, correct? What’s the difference if they come from trim or flower? Zero difference.
We are not making bho slabs here, just “hot dog” water.

While i dont disagree with your message, 500g in jars from piramal is so you can put them straight on a hot plate and formulate. They wont hold a full kg. Springing for the nicer graduated glass looks better but makes more work for the buyer.

Also 10lbs is 10lbs

Yes there’s alot of variables. For sure.

Ok you ready for the lesson?

All processes from biomass to distillate are purification processes yes?

If youre starting from the same cannabinoid biomass you would be right but flower is usually 50-100% more cannabinoid content. Crude varies in cannabinoid content based on biomass cannabinoid content when you control for process. Ergo crude is not crude. You can agree that cannabinoid content in crude is of variable quality yes?

Same thing after winterization. Ive made 60% winterized and 80% winterized all based on the quality of the crude input.

In any distillation process the higher the starting concentration the higher the concentration after distillation up to the point of maximum process efficiency yes?

You just repeated what Demon said with more words.

Yes thats how debate works. You acknowledge your oppponents premise and then disprove it.

@Demontrich

Y’all are both right. SPD doesn’t discriminate but what you put in also helps what you get out. No absolutes in the world.

Oh snap!

Hot dog water is just that, hot dog water. Hot dog water doesnt care where the thc/cannanaboids comes from. Just as long as it fills the mains flask.

We turn our bulk flower into sauce and shatter not disty.
Why put dank into an spd when the shittiest trim makes exactly the same end product.
Ya maybe less yeild per boiling flask but the end is the exact same color and quality

Thank you for the confirmation that high quality crude is worth more. Not all flower is dank. Back to the original arguement; flower makes better distillate runs, if only in mains:tails ratios in spd or overall batch color in wfe.

Crude= unrefined. Shatter and sauce is not crude.
There isnt a debate here just facts and your choosing to ignore them.
If by better you mean higher yield per L in the bf then ok. Sure

If i take low grade trim and extract it cold does it make crude or shatter?

I think you mean High cannabinoid Crude. That’s what would make it high quality, correct?

Depends. Eho bho?

It will make whatever final extract you want.
