I don’t see how removing these posts would hurt the Intregrity of the site.
I asked a couple mods and was told to just make a new account. Guess we weren’t friends as they do this kind of things for their buddies all the time.
Since I’m not in the cool kid club and i do t get same privileges as others I don’t think it’s too crazy to give level 3 ability to delete old posts and threads.
If that doesn’t work maybe grant reasonable requests
You are all about the personal freedom and liberty correct? If I can’t control what I post I don’t own it anymore you do and I have no more freedom with anything I post on the sight. I relinquish it to you for the use of the site.
This seems to be a big issue with people right now and big tech social media platforms. With all your political postings I’d think you’d want to be on the freedom side of this not the other.

Fixed. Looks like the default for @ a group is admin only. Those groups are default system groups and looks like they have mostly default settings.
If there’s any other groups with this issue let me know and I’ll fix them, at least until/if @sidco has an issue with that.
As for editing old posts, like I said, it was that way until it got abused multiple times. We had a discussion and changed it. Not my place to go over @sidco head on something like that so we need to wait for his input on the matter

I understand the logic of blocking users from the ability to spam, but any spam attempts would lead to demotion in trust level. There also is good argument in being able to call @trust_level_4 to correct posts, but as noted previously, our elected mods have lives.
If one can rank up to a arbitrary level of trust , then they can edit their own posts, and preform their own duties, like MOM, personal information flagging, and forum events (charities and competitions)

Since giving users the ability to delete their own stuff will ruin your site apparently can you at least grant reasonable requests?
One could even make it about my personal information and accidentally doxing myself.
