750mL? Seems like that’s the next popular size up from the 50/100mL
Yup, I was actually going to see if I could hire you to do some 3d printing for me. I wanted a 4x500 but this was $200 and local so I’m happy.
I can make the models for ya pretty easily if you can feed me good dimensions
Ill see if I can find the manufacturer dimensions somewhere and/or take some measurements and get back to ya!
The discounts though bro
This makes me happy I bought the LD-3 from Amazon for half the price. Will report back!
Damn that’s a great deal. Looks to be in great condition too.
“This isn’t even my final form” but muffled as fuck.
Don’t try this…
CUPs don’t like spinning dry.
AT ALL!!
Concept is sound…
…but a CUP is the wrong weapon.
Would a bit of piping not be able to keep the gasket wet yet the basket dry ?
Wich weapon do you recomend ?
you just need a different rotor.
which I was going to/may still build for the CUP-30.
yeah, there may be a fairly trivial way to solve (used with pumps with similar seals), although I’m also trying to keep that which comes through the filter as well, which is a slightly different trick that you’re performing here.
And, maybe more importantly, one needs to ensure the bearings stay cool. Without liquid of some sort to keep the heat load balanced, you’ll destroy the machine. I’m sure there’s another way to do this without liquid in the basin, but it’s not a trick I’ve attempted, yet.
Recirculating the seal barrier fluid (200 proof ethanol) over a heat ex changer should suffice.
