I actually was a fed for a minute and did that temp work for the census, none of the people doing enumerating would know why its on the questionnaire, I did the enumerating too which is asking the questions. Payed good, 25 an hr I think and you made your own schedule with an app on that govt issued phone they were putting your answers into. I can tell you it was uncomfortable as fuck as a white guy asking people their race and ethnic origin. It was almost better when they couldn’t speak English, or didnt want to, so you could just hand em a paper with their case number and walk away… You couldve said you were Swedish and they wouldve had to put it in as accurate information
