My son shot a rabbit and this is dinner. Carrots and beets from local farmers and garlic scapes from our garden.

I am a suburban kid, if we shot a rabbit we were in trouble. Future cooks it= kickass.

Gabe is 17 and will be a senior next year. He’d like to be a gunsmith. We shoot a lot on our property and he is proud as punch when I cook up the catch.

Yeah, theres a picture way up in this thread of two carrots from the garden last year hugging each other, I still haven’t learned to stagger the planting or thin them on time. Hard head I guess lol
