We are a testing laboratory. We tested for the analytes in question and offered semi-quantitative results.
You think it is our responsibility to draw conclusions?
We did not say we test for all other impurities. How can we say what the impurities are if they’re unknowns. Most labs are reporting concentrations with those impurities coeluting with d8. What do you say to them?
I have no idea of how to make D8 without these byproducts, I really wish someone would nail it down because getting high from CBD conversions sounds pretty nice and cheap.
I do wish harm on people for waging a misinformation campaign for profit. All (or at least the vast majority) of D8 products are contaminated with +2% unknown cannabinoids, that is fact as far as I can see. You guys are misinforming the public that this is not a big deal (or just plain glossing over it in bad faith). If that sounds like you, sorry but I wish you legal harm.
You’re more than welcome to make a thread highlighting the issues as you see them on my subreddit, or here. I feel that attacking people who have been making an effort to identify and test for potential issues is the wrong way to go about things, I get enough of that from the delta8 subredditors
There are certainly unknowns present with unknown potential toxicity. It is true that they’re in nearly every d8 sample we see (can’t say with certainty).
I’ve been on this forum and elsewhere brandishing our company’s name and logo.
And @Labdog is complaining about safety, miscommunication on the internet, and unknowns we already knew were there, while worried about being doxxed.
Go bring your problems to people who can do something about it, like your politicians and policymakers. Good luck with that.
Show me the clean LC-UV chromatogram of your D8 with no byproducts. I want to see one big peak and maybe a little D9 peak to the left, not a half dozen peaks that string out to the left. Every one I have ran on the machine or seen online is going to have at least 3 peaks other than D8/D9.
Show me, because I do not believe anyone can make clean D8 (without at least 3 isomer byproducs) following any existing SOP. Not after running all the D8 I have ran, you will have to prove it to me. But pretty simple to show the proof really… wheres that chromatogram at?
And yall saying im some iontorrent bloke look very paranoid. Just saying, there could be more than one person looking into this because it is very obvious when you run it. Maybe we share similar motives… i would really like to see people cranking out clean D8 from cheap ass hemp. As long as D8 is of equal safety as D9… im all for it. Not to make a profit but because I want to get high and id like other people to be able to get high.
