You can build a flow hood for like 50 bucks then use grain to grain transfers to keep your spores going. Wouldn’t require the whole syringe (assuming you have that) or make one with the print and then you’re good to go. If you need help with any of that reach out

Grain to grain transfer is much easier since technically you don’t have to germinate the spores. Use the one innoculated mycelium feed stock to produce more in multiple other sterilized jars.

My homie made his own liquid culture, puts it on cooked birdseed with the sunflower seeds removed, he floats them off. I’m going to ask him how it’s going? I know he did tons of research before he started. Should be about ready to fruit or fruiting.

Yes you would just transfer the mycelium covered rye into sterile fresh rye. Or if you have some fruiting you can take that and make an agar plate. Both done with the flow hood
