I presume they figured out their active was bunk/hurting people and so they recalled it under the guise of an allergen recall.

I wonder how many people died from alcohol poisoning in the same period.

Tons but they knew what it did in the first place. Shit isn’t labeled as a health food and drunks aren’t known as healthy pretty much ever.

Back to the actual thread topic now.

More relevant would be how many got sick with methanol poisoning…

Clearly, I mean what is the active though?

Probably bought 4AcO from a disreputable broker and received something not at all related. Maybe some PD5 inhibitor.

They probably did no testing and just put it in their products without even a reagent test.

Yeah I wouldn’t put any money against that

Wow @ that ingredients list. Now that is a kitchen sink.

I mean executed properly I think the synergy could be rad.

Sad part is the demographic that consumes these types of products don’t have the attention span to read that many words, so they lose focus halfway through the ingredient list / have no idea what they are taking.

Quick update, further lab tests have shown the presence of 4AcO-DMT, as well as

  • dihydrokavain
  • kavain

The active kavalactones from Kava.

I still think they got beat with the PDE5 pack that was going around, but it’s possible this could be the source of the problem. Extracted kavalactones have been shown to be hepatotoxic in previously healthy users.

What is PD5 pack?

There was a group of brokers selling PDE5 inhibitors (sildenafil aka viagara) as 4AcO-DMT.

Haha called that shit

Wild, now watch there be a ton more regulation/enforcement for the mushy stuff!! It’s all so tiresome.

It’s an open secret in the industry at this point, not really something to be afraid of, but “research chemical” sounds scary to people.

4aco is awesome, I enjoyed my experiences with it. It’s definitely easy to fuck up formulation with the dose thresholds being what they are.

Plus who knows what they really got not like there’s reputable labs giving out COA’s on it lol

Definitely don’t agree with using it as an unlabeled substitute for psilocin/psilocybin, but it’s everywhere.

There are definitely reputable labs (drugsdata.org for example, as well as several others) that will test it for you. Standards are available.

In my mind, any person who is going to purchase products that are clearly labeled as making you trip would be okay with it, especially knowing that psilocybin is illegal.

If it’s safely tested, dosed responsibly and consumed by adults, there’s nothing wrong with it.

People want access to psychedelics and they deserve it. What they don’t deserve is someone greedily putting bad drugs into their products. An instant reagent kit would have told them (Diamond Shruumz) IMMEDIATELY that what they had wasn’t even a tryptamine. They just don’t care enough to protect anyone.

Preach it Shrimp! Spot on. Drigsdata showed me what everythingwas like before and after the start of covid. Went from 2 adulterants to 10 in a few short months.

If they’ll cut that, they’ll cut anything because it’s infinitely easier.
