The spot I work. I always here how we arent making any money. But the owner pulls up in 200k$ worth of different cars. So who knows!!! I do find it weird extractors are making the same wage as a good times employee. Sad times we live in
The roads are horrible in Denverā¦
Naw they paved in gold brahā¦ā¦
I wouldnāt say weāre ājust watching gaugesā. That gauge tells you if something is going wrong on the pressurized bomb youāre operating. I and my friends have seen horrible injuries from overpressure events, shattered sight glasses, SS caps that have been blown right through the roof like a bullet. You better have your eyes on those gauges and not be distracted by fiddling about with some random task in the name of minor efficiency.
I think this sums it up:
If you are just running the extractor itās a production position and pays as such
If you are managing the production itās a management position and pays as such
If you run the whole lab and compliance and sales etc itās a director position and pays as such
If you want to make more money work on developing more marketable skills. In 2021 you are going to be well served to have a bachelors in chem as thatās what most of the corpo canna staffers are looking for.
They were no worse than the roads in FL, haha.
why donāt u just steal my profile pic ā¦that one gonna cost you at least $250 in knock off fees
ā¦itd look alone better w regular tag and GLG monogram
I imagine your telling the truth from your stories of being called ācrackerā for no reason. Sounds like a pretty rough part.
btw this whole article scares me from ever wanting to move to a legal facility extracting, sounds like im making money for the boss thats it
Your always making money for the boss until you become you own boss. Theres nothing anyone is doing that you yourself cant do. You just have to want to and bust bust your ass
Welcome to any job my friendā¦
Hey @ExTek90, what do you think lab managers should make say being on the job a number of years?
@IonStorm has a very good comment about the whole pay situation here imo.
Edit: tl;dr version, market is flooded for extractors, pays gonna keep go down most likely.
Depends on the location, responsibilities, and market.
Letās say at your company?? How long you been there? Letās say the job you left in Denver to chase the cash in MI? What does your replacement in Denver deserve to make??
Iāve been with the company for almost 4 years.
I canāt speak on my company, but for what I was doing in the Denver market Iād value that at 40-50k tops.
So in Denver you were only making 40-50k and you think the MI market commands a much higher pay rate??
Why do you value the job so low?
I didnāt say what I was making. I said what I would value it at.
Thereās half as many people in CO than MI, theres also 10x as much competition. The job was easy as fuck, lol.
It sums it up without any numbersā¦ but I guess pay varies pretty widely even among factory jobs, there are the good and the bad everywhere.
I find it insane that a production position would require any sort of higher education, and any specialized knowledge wouldnāt be provided during on the job training if $15/hr is going to be considered a reasonable pay, at least in CA.
This post is disgusting. And Damn to the people making good money. You guys talking like you need king in your name. Moral is the guys making money dont want anyone else in the industry making shit. Everyones view point is fucked in here.
