Extractor Pay Discussion

Investments that are inflation proof are the ticket

My issue is large cannabis companies that low ball extractors and end up getting subpar people that make mistakes which cost thousands of dollars EI: one batch of wax or shatter. I feel like if you pay people well and they know your processes and have consistency your company will save money in the long run paying people a living wage.

Agreed but theses guys like to gamble :slot_machine:

You get what you pay for

Gold and guns are my go-to precious metals :kissing_heart:

Low-interest loans are a good way to deal with inflation as well. If they are going to devalue the dollar it builds my equity more quickly.

Around my city the go to is hire a “master grower” or extractor, record every step of the process start to finish for a couple runs, fire, outsource to cheap laborers, rinse and repeat. Turn and burn.

The lack of pay shows you how many people would love to be in the cannabis industry, when you quit/get fired they have an unlimited pool of unexperienced bright eyed noobs and wooks who will HAPPILY take your place. For less $. Beats working at Trader Joe’s

Sounds like master growers are signing shitty contracts

Master Growers sop should be his intellectual property and he should be paid for its use after his employment ends as long as they are still using his ways

Looking on indeed… Regional dispensary managers making 80-110k a year in this area… LOL

There are soooo many corporate cannabis jobs in this area for good pay its actally crazy looking at indeed.

Even manager in training for dispensary is fetching 65-85k…

Why should a “Master Grower” make more than $40k for watering plants?

His first time in that position

Exactly like @anon56994712 said, i got employees that work the bare minimum cause they wanna party or chase tail. Then complain they dont have any money, also have cars available for them too use. Its a mentality thing with the younger generation, they dont see step 2-9 only the beginning and then think cause there there they deserve what you make at step ten after saving and busting my ass for yrs. its honestly sad, real life is gonna chew up so many people. Hope theres a lot of fluffer job openings cause there’s a whole generation of entitlement feeling kids who think they deserve something for not doing anything

Depends on the grower, if your grow doesn’t have the regiments set up, and that grower improves your processes, they’re worth their weight in gold.

Lordy guys, people are worth what they are worth, and they are people.

Now put your d***s away, they should only be out for harambe.

Appreciate you, it’s been rough. I wouldn’t have put up with some of that shit though if I didn’t have equity.

no offense- mcdonalds is a hard job. They are always busy. If you are the one cleaning its basically constant. Lots of jobs are easy compared to mcdonalds= like almost all highly paid office jobs. Like dr and lawyer do they seem busy when you see them? They are lazy but schooled.

I just have a problem when corporate weed is trying take away my livelihood with dirty money through lobbying groups like MCMA.

Yeah, and there aren’t any moral discussions in society about that being a problem in sight.

the ones talking against raising min wage are lazy themselves.

Don’t get me started on corporate weed man. I know what they’re trying to do with it. Not a fan. Small/medium grows always have the best stash. Unless operated improperly of course, usually because they don’t have the funds, or won’t pay their workers respectably.

Don’t you pay your help in gummies??
