Extraction of hash with olive oil

I thought of reducing it in a green extraction process in which edible oils are the extraction solvent and carrier.
Not to do that in personal for profit but as (thought) experiment and inspiration.

Do you think distilling is cost efficient in comparrison?

How much more cost efficient you want when distillate is dirt cheap and profit margins on edibles are 3x to 10x profit from cost price. Definitely more cost efficient when someone already did the steps for you to get it pure and decarbed and ready to mix in oil and use proper math and ratios to figure out accurate dosing

I do not mean to do that in personal for profit but as (thought) experiment and inspiration.

How you plan to monitor that?

Check out: Data: potent & efficient lipid infusions via percolation (21 g batches)

Define “try” for me.

Huff? Fuck no!

Taste? Would expect bitter, but that will vary somewhat by strain I imagine.

Make some? Maybe. Can certainly see the utility.

If this is but a thought experiment, maybe check out; Stupid question... oils tinctures/lipid infusion

:pinched_fingers: extra virgin.

I still like the dry steam turbo microwave.

“Did you know that fresh goat cheese has been used in this manner for 3000 years?” I was freezing the olive oil and said to my self, why did I not think of goat cheese earlier? Nothing greener than a goat cheese emulsion.

I’ve made cannabis vege oil capsules using my magic butter machine. It works well but rso capsules work better.

This might be about pharmakokinetics or bioavailability.
The rso could get absorbed faster or without any risidue. Sometime edible oils do not get digested fully. The rso instead was produced from a more polar solution and it is in more concentrated form so it will go more easily into the aqeous phase of your eh bolus.

Maybe it esen better to loose the terps.
I actually do have verry limited experience with oral application.

Entourage effects mean further synergic effects of lipids, terpenoids and the low volatiles by crossinteraction of pharmokokinetic and pharmakodynamic of different constituents.

Jack, you seem to becoming around a bit. I would lose the entire post. Try looking up “lipid lymphatic absorption system”.

I got an applicator and I’ve been having the suspicion that if you get it to the temp that it takes to rotovap the ethanol out of oil for the hot water to pour over the apicator, will the Rso somewhat, “recognize,” this?

So I poured 177°f water over the applicator from my digital electric kettle and made the oil mobile and put that into a capsule and the input that capsule into the freezer for 20 mins exactly.

The theory was if the oil does recognize this temperature then it should hit faster because it recognizes the oil as being produced not being in storage.

It hit a lot quicker than it did it hit in under an hour within the 30min mark, fastest an rso ever* hit me.

RSO also hit me quick when I ate hot chicken atte the capsule and finished the chicken.

I think the hot ridgid food hit the capsule broke it open and coated the chicken in my stomach and then the next piece of chicken and then my body started digesting the oil as well as the chicken at the same time without the need for the extra time for the capsule to take hold.

Edibles/tinctures always work best when consuming a fatty meal/food item with said edible/tincture.

You want to activate the lipid lymphatic absorption pathway..with about 20-50 gms of fat…your cannabinoids will find a home run. But your rso should have a decent amount of cannabinoic acid in it. Usually a room temp EtOH extract? Not sure how you prepare or whether you decab the biomass first.?

I would guess that high viscosity or poor emulsification by short residence time in an empty stomach are a problem with high cannabinoid concentration.

Maybe terpenoids can act as solubilizing agent, too.

buddy, most of the folks on this forum started by regularly breaking federal laws on extraction of schedule 1.

In some form, all these people continue to break federal law, regardless of the current policy of allowing states to go their own way.

Seem like a cunt.

Boyo, I was deeply embedded in the ‘culture” long before you were born. That shit talk won’t get you very far: Anacostia rules. Marijuana processing is just a job. Doesn’t even pay well. Hemp-THCA distribution the past few years has been a major winner in the market of vape shops and gas stations..The rec market has been whining to congress for some time. I think it is a well known fact that in states the have legal Rec and medical -marijuana Markets, like California, the black market runs a close second.
My comments on another thread about distribution of Hemp-THCA which falls under the 2018 farm bill, and the query about interstate distribution and resale , really, have nothing to do with Schedule I marijuana regulation.
Perhaps it is you who lacks the necessary understanding of this crew’s background as evidenced by the nature of the topic you bring up. It seems a bit disrespectful.
