I recently have bought HD9 from various sources to test the waters and find the best quality. So far I’m liking Fusion the best. (If anyone else has any other companies they trust to be clean and quality please recommend)
My question is: what makes distillate more liquidity than others? And does it affect the quality of the cannabinoids if it’s more runny than other?
You ALL ARE BADASS. THANK YOU!

You question should be “what factors affect the viscosity of distillate(s)”
And “is viscosity a useful metric for the quality (or quantity) of the cannabinoids (or conversion)”
Which is a solid Maybe …but a trustworthy COA is a much better one.
Because viscosity does not change the cannabinoids, but the cannabinoid(s) can affect the viscosity.
Other things that might lead to lower viscosity are 1) residual solvents 2) fats and waxes 3) potency 4) which cannabinoids are present.
What is the typical consistency of distillate? I’ve done 2 distillations so far, first test came back at 81% THC after 1st pass. The distillate is very hard at room temperature. I heated it up and put it into a glass syringe, let it cool down to room temp and was unable to dispense it due to the viscosity. Is this normal? I’ve seen distillate that flows thru syringes at room temp easily. Are they achieving that by cutting it with terpenes or some other diluent?

Yeah, not a lot of that going around in distillate these days…
