Has anyone ever used Methylene Chloride also known as Dichloromethane as a solvent for cannabinoid extraction?
How did it work? Was it appropriate for extracting what you want? I.e. the cannabinoids ? Or did is just eat the plant matter? Did it leave any funny taste? Any residual solvent?
can anyone name a solvent that NOBODY has tried to extract cannabis with?
Haha fair enough. I knew people had, I more or less wanted verification on how well it worked. I have a large amount and some hash I wanted to dissolve in it. I wanted to know if I was wasting my time or if it was worth it
I am on my phone and did not see that. I’m going to dive into that as soon as I finish what I’m doing with these gloves and the finger hash
Witch hazel?
I’m honestly not sure if that’s even true lmao I didn’t look it up, just thought of the most bizarre thing that could act as a solvent that I have yet to see even cbd in
What’s the goal for the hash? To winterize or?
seems reasonable
probably find someone who distilled the iso out and used that…
edit: learned something. you can get witch hazel without the iso.
Precisely why I didn’t say iso lol, I had to think hard, I mean I’ve even seen mention of r134a as a solvent so it wouldn’t surprise me if it’s been done
It’s mutagenic
You can’t dispose of it safely
If we got everyone using this stuff
We might get rid of the real idiots in the industry
Within a generation of two
Damnitttttt😂
I’m talking DCM
Witch hazel is just tannins for witches
Too much water in witch hazel.
Is there not to much water in water hash?
With water hash your not dissolving anything, witch hazel has alcohol in it
Which cold is a cosolvent of the water no?
Could you clarify?
