DIY Rolling Benches

Anyone ever build their own rolling benches?

What’s a good liner for the table component?

Pond liner works the best.

I want to use the hard plastic tray pieces you glue together.

I’m not sure that I’ve seen them.

Botanicares trays are alright. Easy to work with & manipulate.

I’m sure I could draw up a design for everything needed if you want.

I seen these and thought they looked simple to build.

These are the tables you glue together to make custom length tables

How big of a section do you want to be able to move at once?

50 ft

Set me up with metal, inserts, glue & a skilsaw you got a build.

That is a big section to move at once. But it’s do able, a track would be best to keep down on man power needed.

These move with so little effort it’s crazy. They roll on poles on a stand as opposed to wheels in a track

nah…

Also didn’t you & @FicklePickle have the water treatment needs? I just got a guy who’s ready to work & he also did the design with my father-in-law for the site down here. Literally only other being I would trust with it.

Nah…

How do these move?
Rollers on those 2 pipes?

Well that depends, how well of a anti tip system you have & the quality of installation. We could move ours fully loaded with a easy push. The stock anti tip I would trash the design & add one that is made from a lathe it’s actually very low profile & only takes a few bolts to install instead of an entire box frame that allows for 6” plus of tipping. It also helps to use a pole placement system. Keeps them from shifting.
