.60 would be just about the sweet spot.
I’ll be in my office in a bit. I’ll run the exact numbers mixed in solution both ways. The only difference is going to be a slight increase in Ca using the cal prime.

Nice I’ve got griffin on it trying to bring in a bag for me to test. Any info is appreciated.
Griffins out till august… sheesh…
So we basically end up with a 10% bump in Ca. I run a custom spreadsheet similar to the backend csv in hydrobuddy, but with some extra pages so I can run different dilutions on multiple stock tanks at one time. Numbers should be very close to hudrobuddy.
I’m no pro on nutrients numbers but what I understand the ratios on the Athena look better then the 321.
Earth Juice OilyCann, is a nitrogen free cal mag
Edit. I’m trying to find the numbers for there sea blast to compare but I can’t seem to find them.
What’s the calcium percentage on that? I can’t find it anywhere.
I would agree that Athena is closer to where you want to be. Due to it being relatively new I have not moved a garden off of it yet.
I suspect the bag numbers aren’t exactly accurate, particularly on MG, and S. Most stuff marketed to cannabis tends to “vary” from what the label states.
I’ll mix a sample and have it analyzed for actual ppm in solution.
If you ever want to clone the npk of an exact fertigation mix it only costs about $100 to have one analyzed. It’s a pretty standard test to run that won’t throw up any flags, even in non friendly states. Once you have ppm in solution you could use something like hydrobuddy to work backward.
Isn’t calcium carbonate a relatively unavailable form of calcium or a slowly available one. Similar to gypsum
Here is some data I compiled about a year ago
With this being said I like the idea of jacks with the cal prime and I also like Athena. I’m probsbly goinh to be grabbing the Athena pro
Is the roots product elemental?
I believe it’s straight calcium carbonate
Oh yes I see. No I don’t think it is that product elemental. I’ll double check
Edit it’s the liquid Calmag
DERIVED FROM
Kieserite, Gypsum
I was meaning their dry product, elemental
Just realized this is probably talking about there liquid.
Cal carbonate isn’t ridiculously low in availability. There are 2 issues with using it. First the carbonate will drive ph up. Most gardens use phosphoric acid to correct the ph, and that phosphorous needs to be accounted for. Second, from a powder standpoint it’s a pain to dissolve. Pretty much need to bubble co2 with it to get it fully dissolved.
Use Ca chelates with respect. The super easy availability of that Ca can reduce Uptake of many other cations.
Ya thats what i run the jacks part a and the cal/nitrate and epsom salts. I only use this stuff every once and a while when im cutting down or out the nitrogen in flower. But ya i believe your right definitely takes a min to show the effects
So for $100 each, I could have house and gardens roots gold and top shooter recipes?
Those would cost more. They contain hormones.
N,P,K,Ca,Mg,S,Si,Na,Cl, and full micros is what you get for $100.
One of the few things they keep behind the counter cause they cost so much. I think the big bottle of the hold is like 1200, could be wrong havent looked in a while
I have a client that swears by them. He sent me home with a liter of each to test out in my setup.
