In the first video posted, the one with the heat gun, the material you see is almost all glass, save for minor amounts of distillate. You can sort of make out all of the smaller pieces of glass around the wet part of the mesh. The recovered distillate was as clear as it was before the breakage.

By the way, thank you for this paragraph! i did exactly this, but then after getting as much glass as i could out, i still pushed it through a 75 micron SS screen!
