Did you guys try full ceramic carts?

They also sell wholesale, with custom print for your logo. So yes, @Dred_pirate, that is definitly a possibility. (And I’ll order one with ur logo, once u do, would be sweet to rep other f4200 members)
If your only getting a couple to try out, make sure u mention the f4200 discount because its gonna show retail price. Send them a direct message or email them, they responded same day and had it shipped out same day

Their page actually has em for more expensive, I’m sure he has a bulk price if I reach out to him directly. They are a pretty kick ass battery

True. Wasnt aware.

Are they draw through or button firing?

Button press. Four heat settings, too. I tend to stay in the middle heat settings, usually.

Button firing. The top silencer part works just by putting it on. If u double tap to warm without the silencer it warms it thru the coil, if u have the silencer on it warms it around the chamber.
I’m using it for 95%+ cbd carts, takes about 3-4 warming cycles to get the crystals liquid again

That battery is made by transpring. We were using them but they have a high failure rate. About 20%. Full custom with all the gold and custom button ended up being about $12 each for 1,000.

So what you guys are saying is… Everything sucks?

I was thinking about going with a quartz nail, and ceramic mouthpiece. Seems like a workable option.

I just want to know why they named it “slim” when it is a total chonker of a battery

“Slim” chance on it working 100% of the time?

Lol

Their original line (granted they are the same as everything else) was called the “slim battery” for the pens like these we use. I “assume” they are just keeping the product name similar

https://www.vaportechusa.com/products/vaportech-slim-oil-battery-kit

They should have called it the Vaportecc Thicc Pen.

That would be funny as fuck

Sweet Jesus, 20% fail?! That’s insane. To my knowledge our defect rate is 1%, if that, and we just send them back for refund.
Also we can beat $12/pc per 1000. Not by much, but we can still beat it.

We get credit. But I honestly don’t want our name on something that fails that much. We had the preheat time shortened from a 90 seconds to 45 seconds. That may have something to do with the fails. But I personally have gone through 6 batts in about 4 months. No drops or anything, they just quit working one day.

I’ll reach out if I need to go the bulk route and don’t want too many being DOA. Good to hear they don’t have that high of a failure rate

I’m finding 10% to be to runny for these and it clogs up a bit and the burnt oil can leak back into your fresh oil. I’m going to try 5% - 7%

Try smashing one with a hammer and sending what remains to a lab for testing. You might be surprised to learn that the test results include arsenic.
