Plenty of hot CBD distillate out there. “Hot” having 7%+ D9THC. Def some hot disty out there with alot more than 7% D9THC too

Fwiw I ate about .25g of sus material. Mouth was gassed with terpenoids, tasted like bottled. Then as i chewed, the small amount of cannabinoids melted from the mass leaving about 50% original size ball of substance that the texture and flavor of reminded me of that old wax lips candy after you suck all the cherry flavor out.
Vendor has seen this thread, has stepped up to back his product, is buying back any remaining product. Just have to get it back into oz jars. Already have 8 oz jarred, should still have 9oz of the 10 I bought.
It’s funny, still soft and pliable after shaving chunks out of the larger jar, just doesn’t have that sickly sweet fake terp scent, smells more bitter like cbd

I would still send some out for testing. How is the vendor (after having been put on blast) backing up the product aside from buying it back? That doesn’t sound like anything more than trying to save face and avoid having the product’s true nature revealed (which would in turn likely bring the torch and pitchfork wielding mob out, looking for blood, were it to be bunk bullshit poop soup).
At least after testing you’ll know whether to trust the vendor or not. My gut is leaning towards not, but I’m not exactly trusting without a COA in hand.
