Denatured Ethanol - thoughts on using ethyl acetate vs heptane

Hi all, I wanted to get everyone’s opinion on using denatured ethanol with ethyl acetate (formula 35-A) instead of heptane (formula 12-A).

@Beaker’s Wax in solvent solubility test suggests might make sense

what does the FDA have to say about Ethyl Acetate?
the CDA35A MSDS?

then there is Limonene denatured ethanol UPDATE: denaturant R&D ROLL CALL

@cyclopath thanks! Great report by @Beaker

35A is already approved by the FDA for these…my company just added it to our ethanol offering.
