Delta 8 distillate to Europe

I dont understand why any of the us vendors doesnt want to send to Europe.
D8 is actually legal here, until its made from hemp plant and thc is under 0.2%. Is there anyone who could help me out?

I even have the goverment letter, that says that all the products and extracts are legal until they have produced from the starins that are marked in the eu act. The plant cannot contain over 0,2% 9thc, and the final product also cant contain d9thc more than 0.2%
As long as those requirements are ok, its all good:)

We want to. But we have shipping brokers who are based in the destination countries telling us ‘Uh hey, if you send this over here it’ll likely get seized and your customer will be out the money they spent on this’.

Now my question to you is that if you spend thousands of dollars on d8 (because shipping across the pond in a secured broker-like fashion) and then 500-750 on shipping since we don’t just throw sensitive materials in the mail and roll the dice would you be just fine with the vendor saying ‘Well that sucks. Sorry, we can’t do a goddamn thing. You can pay us and we can try again though’.

As someone who takes pride in his reputation, no fucking way i’d do that. My job is to make my customers money. If I want to gamble i’ll do it with my own cash at a casino.

The letter is well and good, BUT if that letter can quell concerns for international shipping brokers - hit me with confirmation from a brokering agency/business and we’ll get this popping but in the meantime i’ve been looking into this for the last 3 weeks to find out why the hell they’ve been saying ‘Yeah no problem ship it over here’ and then when out brokers check with destinations they are all classifying it as D-9-thc even without a formal law change. Figure that situation out and you’ll figure out your shipping issues as that’s been the issue with a handful of EU countries that were previously all systems go.

I’m guess english is NOT your first language?

Because the UNTIL that statement means that IF we make D8 from EU hemp strains it WILL NOT be compliant. Which is not at all what you’re trying to imply.

Swap in “so long as”, and it makes sense.

So what does your letter actually say?!?

English is not my first language, yes.
Well, the law says: Cannabis (excl the varieties listed in the
Common catalogue of varieties of
agricultural plant species which
Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol content not exceeding
0,2%) and cannabis resin and extracts and
tinctures of cannabis

And in the forbidden substances list, there is also only d9, no d8 mentioned there.

I touched on that. The end of the story to me is when a shipping professional specifically for said country tells me “It won’t make it there” I listen. They know the ports better than you or I.

Otherwise if you have your own shipping methods set up, myself and most any company would be happy to ship your methods. However if it doesn’t show up there’s no refund mechanism in place and we certainly can’t take any responsibility for an outside agency botching it since we were hands off. Know what I mean?

99.9% of delta 8 on the market is non compliant for delta 9 thc, many producers pick labs that don’t separate the coeluting cannabinoids and call it good

Im assuming, that customs cant take it, when its not forbidden?!
Even if they do, then its a court case i think?
I think, that mentioning to the broker that a letter from the coverment is attached to the parcel will help.

They are having a problem trying to get the shit to .3% compliance. What makes you think that you will actually get something that is compliant at under .2%? Just being real… They’re not there yet. Close anyway…

Government doesn’t care. The shippers contact the government directly and we get a direct answer from customs. The only way to get the information MORE from the horses mouth is for myself to change countries and run for a governmental position.

Like i said, if you get it sorted more than happy to help but any good business will ask you for UNDENIABLE proof that it will pass customs.

Keep in mind the brokers live and work within the destination country so these are citizens with understanding of the law

Yeah, go ahead and order from them and see what happens when it gets to your country and they make you test it. What are they going to do to you when they find out there’s 19% D9 in your D8 distillate? I wouldn’t want to find out, I’ve had my freedom removed from me before and I don’t like gambling with my freedom

Wasnt aware of that, but can you explain me how does it work in usa?
Im a law student, so trying to find some loopholes around delta 8:D

Find labs with poorly tuned hplc potency testing, use them for “compliance”, bombard the market with products of questionable quality/legality, let your customers and small business owners get arrested, ???, Profit
