7/20 Update

We added support for pressing flower. Lots of people like to pretend it doesn’t exist but we’re here for all of the experimentation.

Next, we’re launching a new onboarding experience and will be working on support for desktop coming up shortly.

Any feature requests?

I feel like without Metrc integration this ends up being tons of manual entry so effectively you’re double entering lots of data. Once for the app and then once for Metrc. I don’t see many adopting this until that happens

That makes sense. We are approved for METRC API, so we’re going to dedicate resources to adding integrations in the future.

A few users have said that just having an optimized spreadsheet would still streamline METRC data entry, so I’m curious what you think? Would that mitigate some of the double entry stuff if you had a clean spreadsheet you could upload directly? Or at least something as a starting point?

Ultimately optional integration into Biotrack and METRC is unavoidable

But it’s gotta be something that works for the operators and technicians. Something intuitive and truncated to save time in the lab. I know I hated having hours of METRC entries to catch up on…

Most 3rd party offerings (with compliance integration) don’t cater to the manufacturers and technicians. It’s nice to see something that does for a change

Being able to upload a spreadsheet with data into the app will save a lot of time. Many businesses are using spreadsheets for production tracking and inventory so they would just have to import into the app.

Would save tons of time as the manual entry would get tedious especially when also entering data for Metrc or similar, although

There are a few things that come to mind that could improve the current web UI to make entering data for the inputs a better on a phone. I think a mobile build for iOS and Android is inevitable for mass adoption.

@addictedtohash Let’s chat in DM

Edited to make concise

We’ll be adding ability for uploading your own spreadsheets/logs soon. I was more referring to having CSVs coming out of the app that are automatically formatted for easy upload to METRC, but both are important to us.

Agree on desktop/tablet and native apps. All on the agenda for us but getting desktop/tablet web app support is higher prio based off of lots of users requesting larger screen support.

Appreciate all of your feedback and will message you right now.

Still waiting on harvest right replacement touch screen so I can give this a try :man_facepalming:t3: haha you wanna start makin freeze dryers when you’re done with the app?

Hey guys, we are working on creating teams/orgs. Good for multiple washers/pressers, will unify all batches into one place.

Wondering what specific teams features you guys would like to see as we build this out?

All insights are much appreciated.

*8/02 Update: we added ‘delete’ to batches so you can clean up inventory. Next up will be edit/delete to change specific entries within a batch.

Sorry for delayed response here. Yes for the first version of teams we are thinking

  • Timestamps/who edited what last
  • Generate combined reports for multiple team members/batches
  • Have an ‘admin’ view where you can have a birds eye of everything happening in production

Let me know if there are other things you guys would want to see.

8/25 Update: General bug fixing + offline CSV/PDF exporting coming soon

Hey everyone know it’s been a while since our last update here. Here’s a quick breakdown of what we’ve been working on lately.

  • Heads down on connected hardware integrations
  • General bug squashing, fixed error that would randomly occur when saving freeze drying data
  • Working on new detailed batch export (what do you guys want to see here?)

For the consultants here… we’re starting to build out our affiliate program and would like to interview a few people about it to get feedback. Preferably those of you that work with >3 labs but open to feedback from anyone.

P.S. we’re not on here all the time so if you want a faster response from us or more frequent updates, feel free to chat us up on Discord. That’s where we’re talking with a lot of our users about new features and fixes

9/11 Update: You can now export offline via CSV + a few other small fixes

Hey guys! We just added CSV exporting. This is a big step for us because it’s a new level of interoperability. Now it’s a lot easier to take your data from Hashy and get it into the other applications you’re already using as a business.

The initial version is pretty barebones, but soon you’ll be able to customize the templates and map them into your existing workflow.

For those of you working with an operations team or utilizing existing invoicing/inventory software, this should make your lives a bit easier. We’re removing two steps and one person from the process entirely.

Old way :frowning:
Paper notes → ops person → spreadsheets → inventory → orders → invoices

New way
Hashy → spreadsheets → inventory → orders → invoices

As always, we look forward to your feedback.

On this last update, we also added:

  • Editing of batch names
  • Centered desktop view (small step towards full desktop version launching soon)

We’ll always continue to drop updates here in our community thread, but we also published a changelog so you can keep track of feature releases and fixes in one place.
