I don’t think I’ve read that one, but if it helps you search better the alkaloid was probably ergovaline.
Gramine is an issue . Cromatography or fractional distillation might seperate the 2 but i havnt tried it yet.
I would avoid the panda for this because nonpolar and plastic …
Yall should check out andenanthura peregrina. It contains bufotenin but thats better than gramine and it is abundent all over the west coast. Cal trans has planted it for erosion control, nurseries too and now its everywhere.

Anadenanthera is difficult to get a decent extract ime. Lots of oily contamination.
Can naphtha be reused as the solvent after removing from the original solution? After the deemz has been filtered out? I know that it’s a non polar solvent but I wasn’t sure if it would retain lipids, or water.
Typical crystalization like a dual solvent crystallization is kind of useless when you can just force it to precipitate by freezing.
Naphtha works good as an extraction solvent and ad a solvent for freeze precipitation. It will retain lipids but the dmt will absolutely precipitate when it gets cold.
Just take the precipitate and wash with fresh cold naphtha again and you’ve got pure freebase.

I wouldnt re use it without distilling it first. But I’ve never actually tried. Theres no way that it’s even close to saturation tho so I guess you could.

grab n heptane dissolve the gummy stuff into it on hot plate once dissolved good wait for the oil to appear on bottom.
Decant it pour off the heptsne layer leaving the oil layer…keep the heotane layer
Pour the heptane layer into small flat round dish its just what I like fairly small (so the crystals stack instead spreading iut then set it out to wait a few days and watch the crystals form…the PURE dmt will dissolve in the heptsne leaving the oil on bottom before u separate…this is the good stuff to most ppl
Take the gummy oily layer allow to dry by evaporating the small amounts crystals to form or it makes. Baddef like consistency…this is still highly active and vapeble…its got dmt.in jt. But mainly nmt

If u have to crystallize I suggest putting them back w the oil layer once it dries to badder like consistency for stronger carts

Does it still have grams dissolved in that will appear after letting all the naphtha evaporate yes…should u use heptane to wash and clean yes if ur gonna evaporate everything no technically if u cold crash
Haha , ya Straight to base pandafuge in a 25 micron bag would work fine . On the anadenanthura the seeda are better than bark for biomass . ive collected dry sap oozing from the bark and tried to break it down in polar then nonpolar then heat and nothing seemed to make it soluable . Gonna see what happens with naoh next.
I’ve only ever extracted from the seeds of anandenanthera and I wasn’t able to sufficiently defat the toasted seeds even after like 4 washes with heptane and xylene.
I’ve only ever read about virola resin tho. Lots of conflicting information because most of it comes from erowid or some other antiquated resource.
Anadenanthera seed extraction is going for a different alkaloid though, bufotenine. Simple acid base doesn’t work well enough ime
