Nice to meet you Gumby  I am Gumbi as well

How would I do this with distillate? which is presently 94.8% delta 9 as i dont want end up with bunch delta 8 just to have clear oil.

Dissolve, filter, recover solvent.

What, wait? Who the fuck are you? I know who you are man!

Can someone expand on the nitro push? Do I add my solvent then push with nitro?

No, with valves closed and prior to injection,
Charge your cooold solvent tank with desired psi using an inert gas,
Then it’s happy injecting🤙

You definitely don’t want to thermally shock your stainless gear with a delta-T of 160 degrees. Won’t do anything noticeable to the eye the first or even the tenth time but beyond that you’re playing with fire.

How many lbs?

Can you explain how this works? Made my first CRC run yesterday and I had a real issue getting my solvent through the filter. I had to use my recovery pump to pull the solvent through.

Look into nitrogen assist! It should take care of all your needs if your getting stopped in crc.

Im new to crc as well but the search feature is gonna be your best friend! The guys here are extremely helpful but won’t spoon feed us :joy::love_you_gesture:

so off subject, but I trigued…say butane that has chilled on dry ice…-40f on infrared thermometer is pushed through material and into collection pot with empty jacket…after full amount is collected, remainder pushed out of collumn with nitrogen ad then nitrogen burped to atmospheric pressure…

after that a water heater set to 120 is currently ulati g through the jacket of collection tank…delta 160 if I’m not mistaken…should that be ramped up stepwise instead of filling g the jacket with hot water?

No. Just fill the jacket with hot water.

For passive systems ?

Yes u create a vacuum when butane propane gets cold enough

Adding dry ice or chillers u watch ur psi fall when coldenough
So in doing so a vac assist is made… plus always create a vac w ur vac pump in empty places

But the slurry or chillers if gets cold enough will create a vac on the tank that’s cooling

Thats the reason we needs nitrogen to get psi back

Link to OG thread?

Could somebody please explain how u calculate which amounts of Acid and solvent you need for your d9 conversion? Example: toluol & iBu3al on 1kg cbdp
thx🙏

Seriously? CRC?!?

You need to source a chemist, not a recipe.

You don’t appear to know enough to be doing this and selling the results.

Thats why I ask
Just want to Understand

But you have not asked for a chemist.

The real issue is the threads on which you have asked. They are totally unrelated to what you’re asking.

Indicating essentially zero understanding…

can you define CRC?

Can you explain how it is related to the catalyst you’re enquiring about?!?

How about the dozens of threads actually discussing isomerization of CBD to THC? You chose not to ask there or event start your own thread.

To what end?!?

What you call iBu3Al folks here generally call TiBA.
See: Triisobutylaluminum

There are dozens of places where asking about it would actually make sense….your inability to achieve that is being taken as an indicator that handing you the information would be dangerous…to you and anyone who might receive your products….but mostly to you.

See: Search results for 'Tiba' - Future4200

Someone who understands the dangers of these catalysts would not be expected to conflate them with the process being discussed in this thread, nor the other threads in which you have enquired.

If we are wrong on our evaluation of your chemistry prowess, convince us of that. Otherwise you should be looking to hire someone qualified to perform the chemistry.
