I’ve used it without heat at all plenty of times. Doesn’t need heat all

But like I said @J12 is our residence THca master that’s actually active here. Listen to him

not saying you can’t grow good big ones at room temp. you definitely can especially depending on how clean your solution is. For my method i just like to get them straight to heat.

100 might be a little to hot to get them started

if 100F is all you can set it at, you could set it on something to act as a buffer. I use hockey pucks under the jars for this reason since my heating mat doesn’t hold a steady temp.

lol.I do the same with a silicone mat. heat buffer

So been trying to lock down purging this all when it’s done and getting it to passable levels. Didnt have luck with purging the terps in a jar(2100ppm), then tried purging them in a pyrex bowl for more surface area, on day 5 now and its still very reactive.
How thin do you guys usually pour your terps? The bowl was prob 2.5in thick with terp pour off.

Thinner to get there faster

Pyrex tray. Thin as possible.

Is there a ā€œtooā€ thin? Could try a casserole dish size pyrex for even more area.

Nope too thin is good. Cant over do it. Just rememberber you gotta ger it out the dish. Transfer loss sucks

My terp soup hit hot too…rip it hard and thin

J12 blasts FF at cryo temps. The input certainly effect the size and quality of crystals!

When you say hard, we talkin full vac 85 degrees or you going hotter?

Idk I’ve been outta town but yeah when I left it it was full and much warmer… I already had it under vac and heat for days, won’t do us any good I cant get it to market. The terps are off the charts, so if we lose some I’m not too worried… as long as it will pass ppms I’m happy. It’s the best tasting dabs I’ve ever made, I’d cry if we have to sacrifice it for grams.

Guessing it being too thick is why my terps crystallized about as much as the initial jar they came from.

From my experience, and I gotta say first I’m a rookie still compared to most here, room temp about 70° made my clearest biggest stones, every side flat faucets, lots of .2gram to up to 1 gram pieces. Took 20 days and I poured but it wasnt close to being finished as I am pretty impatient. Latest batch is on a heating mat, with a Pyrex dish on top and a paper magazine in the dish to give me a geustimated 85-90° heat. took 14 days and crashed most of it I think. Ended up with 27D/21T ratio. A lot smaller stones, but worth the time saved. Conclusion, slow and cold for personal, hot and fast for mass lol
