People can see the statement you posted take it literal and hurt themselves . Better to not post anything @_joe that people might do cause they see it and are uniformed . In my SOP / tek there isn’t even anything about dry ice except i don’t use it lol . Its just not a very relavent post to what the thread is about . I’m just all about the safety man please don’t think I’m trying to be a dick. Just try to keep it on subject ! Be safe . The thread was getting off topic . Its better to push it in the right direction rather than make things more off topic!

Miners have their place in the industry for producing large amounts of THCa not small amounts of large stones. Even J12 said he breaks up those stones and purges them. I dont know any dispensary selling 2-3g stones. The majority sell small rocks covered in sauce. They are beautiful to see and it takes a lot of R&D to make it to that point. For me I run miners(40) because I am trying to make THCa on a commercial level. You can make any size stones you want in a miner same way you can in a jar.

Can you elaborate a little? I am mainly curious about time lines and clarity of crystals. Looks killer! I was going to abandon the miners and go with jars, but I want to give the hot tek a try… I like the “set it and forget it” mentality of jars but the idea of getting a product like you just posted in days Vs. weeks has me needing to know more

So im confused as to whats happening. I decided to put an entire run in jars for this tek.
Jarred and put in oven last night. Nothing is happening.
The jars look the same as when i put them in.
Any advice? Test jar i did last time went perfect. Now not 1 out of 8 jars is working
Clarity? Like are they VVS? I’m not to sure as I dont check for clarity. Any large stones get broken up into smaller pieces as nobody pays for single stone size. I’m with you @J12 jars are definitely easier to work with. I just found it a pain in the ass once I crossed the 50 jar threshold. I also have the space for 200 miners so I made the move.

I was just wondering because I guess some people in the industry don’t consider smaller foggier facets to be “real diamonds”. Personally I don’t care because the miner runs in the past have just given us more of sugar soup and taken a long time… Ill try it today though hopefully have some pics next week.
