Conversion Liters and full D9

Now you know how I feel about the IEM thing lol

Triisobutylaluminium produced the 98% d9 1%d8 coa I posted above, I think that’ll be hard to beat especially when it comes to scaling

IEM might be able to do the same thing idk though

I need to actually play around with my IEM and trying to make d9, im using it to try and make compliant d8 ATM

In that case I’ll start the write up on the procedural and diagrams asap. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

(just kidding let’s not kill the thread)

The cool part about a flow scheme is that IEM could be easily added in line, so if one were to build out a flow reactor they may have some extra components (such a neut. reactor and a nifty phase separator), but the modular nature of the skid would allow those to be taken off or bypassed easily.

We know benchtop reactions work better. Less mol, less space in vessel = better heat penetration to reactants, better yield. We also know that the scheme goes CBD > D9 > D8. I know from experience that this happens fairly quickly at 83degC, with the time taking me to finish addition of catalyst to my first sample, there is already a prominent d9 peak (and some d8). But now what if we were to expose these reactants to their needed reaction temperatures rapidly and neutralize almost instantly, always continually a series of very small scale mmol reactions, most likely µmol? You would get a complete conversion and you control how long the reaction goes.

Now what if I told you its a thousand times safer based on the fact your not boiling solvent for hours at a time in a reflux reactor? what if I told you you use 3x less solvent (its not needed because you don’t need to use it as an energy buffer for the reflux? what if I told you you can protect IP by giving your crusty techs a bottle of proprietary mix and then instructing them to go dump it in that vat and hit the play key? What if I told you it is best for exothermic reactions, which this ring closure is?

Less explosions, less IP theft, less solvent usage (John Warner thanks you in advance), I think its a win.

Is the peaks mislabeled or was d9 accidentally created like that? Because that’s impressive

Total accident. It was one of this groups first ten reactions. Didn’t follow instructions.

Either way the tech is one of the best SPD techs in the west, so the high purity I attribute to his sick-nasty cutting skills combined with his tricked out Summit SPD + Fraction finder.

Edit: which is why I’ve posted it for discussion and not as a flex or I would have posted this last year when it was made.

i don’t make them out to be anything. I’m not using them at all. tried out, then moved on

also batches, but flow can use IERs just fine. they’re even better suited to flow since there’s much less mechanical stress through stirring etc.

Lol good to know. Thanks.

Whos got converted D9 liters with low D8 content for 1000 a liter or less? I’ll buy the fuck out of them right now.

Wow. So this is not a repeatable result?

I mean will 95%+ d9 ever hit 1000? Seems like a stretch

But then again cbd is worthless.

Glad i make shatter too! Butane clan baby

when we grow biomass in the bible belt like hemp, d9 distillate prices will be in the gutter too

Isnt that years down the line though?

it’ll only take a single season of farmers overestimating demand, assuming production licenses aren’t monopolized

Do you personally think perfect quality 95-99% water clear d9 will be below $1000USD by 2022?

Wheres killa! We are taking bets.

Hes probably busy packing up magic dirt he’ll chime in for bets.

Seriously though, whats up with these high quality D9 conversions. I know they are out there, but jokers keep selling them around here as regular D9 (tests show varying trace levels of D8). I’d gladly pay a decent price for it if someone is actually representing it as what it is, but the new thing is to sell either cannabis derived D9 cut with D8, or converted D9 as cannabis derived now. Aint no one trying to pay 3k a liter for fake stuff.

By 2022, all cannabis products will be free.

assess?

Talk to the suits and greedy people about that one…

ā€œWhat you need is a gramme of soma outdoor midsā€

Exactly what I’m doing. 27x boxes of magic dirt going out tomorrow and most of a 5lb custom extractor.

Packing orders. Cooking dinner. I will take $2200-3000 95% cannabinoid d9 distillate by the end of 2022.
