Congress introduces bill to legalize hemp CBD supplements

I have about 25 big bottle drying racks if anybody wants to buy a couple :joy:

In all honesty though, how much would building out a GMP facility cost? I’d rather have my entire line white labeled if it’s going to cost a million bucks to get GMP

Im not sure about audit costs, but the facility costs are all over the place based on how hands on you want to be, production needs, and location.

I can get away with using a 40ft storage container or two on some owned land in BFE that I do everything myself for. Others might need to retrofit a NNN lease facility in a big city with tons of permits and contractors.

I would seriously look into starting a co op if I had a business and local competitors that needed a $1mil buildout.

Dude the American supplier that takes them in sterilizes/cleans them and certifies them as legit before they get sent to our facility. For their cGMP certification they have SOP’s in place to ensure that the bottles meet spec. See my above comments. I really wish I could put a facepalm emoji in here.

So, you finally answered my question. :man_facepalming:

I’m digging the UV idea. It probably be really easy to add a UV tunnel in the botteling line.

You got the facepalm emoji!

You should look into a GMP certified shipping container. A 40’ er can be made cgmp for little enough… I don’t know your process but the physical plant part is solvable if you can fit it into a container. Its the records, sops, etc that are tough imho.

We just passed our GMP audit. Use an ISO 9001 supplier for bottles, problem solved. It’s called supplier verification.

His either. I could see the disconnect a mile away. Appreciate and respect both of you. Hope to see Texas in the same standings.

Technically it is within ISO ratings. Since there isn’t a standard on cannabis ISO ratings any ISO rating is technically GMP compliant if you can find someone to sign off on it. That ceiling in a pharmaceutical environment is not allowed except within testing areas.

Not a certifier so grain of salt and talking out my ass.
