Note: these are NOT single-source type extracts. In other words the THCA crude didn’t originate from the same flower as the terpenes. And apparently it had d8 somehow.
Alright, these ones, definitely have a lot of waxes in them. The test results are right in line with a CO2 crude that was extracted very high pressure (>250 bar) with all the fats and waxes still in it. The results might be a little lower than that even.
I would expect these extracts to leave some charred residue on a banger, not sure how they would taste though.
Did you ever end up moving forward with this as a product? I run CO2 and have played around with trying to bring some other type of concentrate form into existence over the years but nothing production worthy.
That’s exciting! I thought I saw you say you used CR2 and winterized it as well. Do you think filtering through another media would help lighten that color a bit? You didn’t see any issues with decarb during rotovap? My machines max out at 2000 psi so I don’t think this is in the cards for me but it’s cool to see someone else doing it.
I ran it on my apex. 1850psi was ok. absorbed a portion of the fats and lipids but not enough to make it stable and colorless like BHO crc. from talking with media bros it works best on machines with pressures over 4000psi which the apex I have max’s out at 2000.
im runing an eden labs 5l at 95f-extraction vessel 130f separator 1800psi my plan is use a fuge tu separete fats on terps and RFS and then mix it again and put it on the oven.
