Cleaning up Rso feco

Good day people. My question is to get clear FECO RSO oil, I should cool down ethanol to -40°C and flower then do the wash?

What is FECO?

Full Extraction Cannabis oil

Sounds like you want room temp ethanol then

Edit:
@Cannabisoilchoice
Clear and “FECO” to me are opposites.

If you wasn’t clear ethanol extract, you want it refined down to mostly just cannabinoids.

If you want “full”, you want to keep all the compounds you can.

I do that just want to know how to get golden colour on crude

You need fresh good starting material, cold cold solvent, and post extraction filtration. Low temp on solvent removal.

Thank you will do a 2kgfresh bud with -40°C solvent then do a low temp solvent removal

What micron filter you recommend

Best is in stages. Start with 25um then do a second at 1-5um

Activated hardwood carbon is also recommended

attachment.pdf (230.5 KB) this is a typical test on normal brack rso crude

its not FECO if you are trying to keep it golden. Dunno who told you it is but they are for sure wrong. You just want a golden ethanol crude. Its def not FECO or RSO

I want the oil more golden

Making it more golden will reduce the medicinal value and make the product more recreational

Ok that I do not want I only do for medicinal

But still want to do a batch

You were correct about AC. You would mix with your solution and filter it out. I recommend adding Celite or diatomaceous earth on top of filter paper to help catch AC powder
